Canceled @ MindSay

Eric sent me a text message yesterday.  OR, I finally had cell reception yesterday, and got a message from Eric.  It said," Im at russo s on the bay.  remember that place? - Eric because his cellphone attaches his name to texts randomly.

And I'll be honest, I had no idea at first where that was.

Then I remembered, that was the name of the place my ill-fated senior prom wsa held.  And how Eric was the most amazing prom date ever and made sure I was having a good time, even as the prom was cancelled due to the fire and lack of power Russo's experienced that day.

What a great kid he is.  Through everything, through 7 years of ups and downs, I still love the kid who travelled about 40 miles to take me to my senior prom and then bent over backwards to make me happy because he knew that a girl only gets one senior prom (even if we DID hae a make-up one in July), and he took it upon himself to make sure I enjoyed as much of those 2 days as possible.

Mission accomplished.  I can't wait to see him later this week or next week.

I have become recently RE-addicted to the CW, previously UPN series Veronica Mars. Unfortunately, my re-addiction has come at the worst possible time. Veronica Mars was officially canceled a month ago :( Talk about a TRAGEDY, seriously, I'm not even kidding here folks.

Instead of watching stupid slutty girls prance around kissing everyone and their boyfriend, or stupid drama and trying to keep track of who slept with who, Veronica Mars was a SMART show with vocabulary higher than a 7th grade level was used. I have a certain beef with shows that I fall in love with, and then get cliff-hanger-canceled on me. AHEM, POPULAR.

If you're interested at all in being intrigued by a stellar story and plot with great acting and witty, hilarious comebacks and characterization, I am URGING you to watch one episode of V. Mars, and I guarantee you will be hooked. The only FULL season I've seen is the last and :sob: final one, season 3 but as soon as I get the money, I am buying them all in a packaged set because they are WORTH it and they don't get boring.

:( I wish I could say I have HIGH HOPES for Veronica to maybe get picked up by another network, or there is also talk about a movie being made, but I feel that quality shows these days are being overpowered by pathetic attempts to sell more flesh and boobs. It's gross, and if you're looking for a smart comedy/drama/mystery series, Veronica Mars is the show for you. Seriously, even if you just go to iTunes and download one episode (currently, only season 3 is available for download on iTunes) you will love it.

This entry is public because I am expressing my love for v. Mars and I want other people to watch it too, if you're interested in that kind of thing. It's worth it, the writing is absolutely stunning compared to all that other crap out there and you'll fall in love with Kristen Bell, aka Veronica Mars because of her delivery and confidence in the character.

I'm very upset that Veronica Mars was canceled, and plan on calling the CW comment line and leaving a long detailed message about how I am SO DISGUSTED in the fact that they have canceled the best show they had. :(

If you fall in love with Veronica like I have (and not in a lesbian way) then help and save Veronica. :( She's worth it!

So, the big excitment for the day was going to be my annual physical (but with a new Doctor) for camp.  I know, it's extremely sad that that was my reason for getting up this morning. 

 

Well, my doctor is apparently going to be out sick the rest of this week, so now my day is... another worthless day in Massachusetts.  Gravy.

 

That sucks.

It's raining so hard, I wish school would be canceled.

I despise Valentines Day. I don't believe in going out and buying your loved one a 4530448million dollar ring just for today. It's dumb and really, if you actually love someone you should tell them everyday, watch a movie with them in your arms, talk to them once in a while but don't just be around for a year and then magically on Valentines Day tell them you love them more than anyone and spoil them with material goods.

I'm hoping Brady doesn't have something hiding in his closet or ya know...because I'd probably have to kill him if he bought me something. I don't like having pointless money spent on me when it could be spent on other things. He also kissed me in public today...that was kinda weird just because he's never done that before. Whatever...

I ordered Jon and Dan their roses today so when they get home this weekend they should be delivered. I hate that tradition but whatever, we've been doing it ever since we knew what money was.

In other news, I hate snow, I hate trudging to class and having it be canceled. I swear, if it ever snows like this again I'm just not even going to get out of bed because apparently no teachers make the effort to come in.
