Ever seen 'Caberet', the movie with Liza Minneli? My dad got it on DVD so we watched it. Pretty good movie. That guy at the club who does the songs...scary looking!

Well tomorrow is the day for schmoozing and mingling. Now try to follow this one: my sister's boyfriend's mother's second cousin, also my brother's friend's little's brother's friend's family, is having a party tomorrow. On an island as small as this one, it isn't surprising that one of the richer families is related to, or knows, everyone. So EVERYONE will be there. My bro, sis, sis's boyfriend, and I will be representing our family. And our dad's business. Which means we can't be mean/rude to anyone who could possibly know someone that could cause problems (aka: the stupid,corrupt government). This means we have to be completely polite and not allow their arrogant behavior to piss us off.
My brother is planning on accomplishing this by getting drunk and building a beer pyramid with some other guys. Unfortunately the bar is surrounded by adults/former teachers of mine/friend's parents, so I won't be able to. How sad. (not really, don't really enjoy the taste of acholol myself)
The party also means I will be rudely flirted with my the family's youngest son who was in my class at my old school. He has had a crush on me forever. Unfortunately, he is rude, annoying, selfish, spoiled, and just plain wierd. (Not too mention ugly) Yet, in order to aviod problems, I gotta put up with the brat.
Don't you love small town living. There's politics in everything. And ofcourse, money.
