Busy Work Day @ MindSay

Hey good morning. As you can tell this entry is a little weird. I am house sitting and he whole place is filled with macs so no color and everything. been quite busy all over the place. I actually did work half day on thanksgiving which wasn't too bad. Yet who comes to a place like us except crazy people. I'm really sick and tired of black Friday's. Number one I had to work them the past 3 years, so I really couldn't spend time with my family. Just seeing people just get crazy looking for one item cursing you out and all this stuff. BLEH. They should just set  up where you do it once a week throughout the month you know. Lightens up a lot, do regular store hours Keep restocking stuff to get rid of it faster that way. I don't know it just gets to me because I know people who deserve so much better working all the time and having to work this day to. It's insane. Yet if you guys are going just always be nice and friendly, I miss the old black Fridays where you can walk around, lots of people but no one flipping out.

Moving on now I hope every single one of your guy had a great Thanksgiving and were able to catch up with all your family or even friends. Also hope you got to do the whole Monty Python, the whole glutton thing and the dude's stomach explodes going all over the place. Sweet thing about working on Thanksgiving I got my check A LOT earlier! SWEET! so yeah this November to remember is STILL showing me quite some surprises. yeah I'm sitting this house and taking care of the pets. Yet the house is pretty much a Palace. Playing the male version of Goldy Locks and the Three Bears. so many flat screen tvs in this place. Been watching Marathon on Freakazoid so much fun, got the PS3 hooked up the huge HD tv so it looks beautiful. very nice set up practically just lay back two couches together very comfortable. the even bought a HUGE amount of food supply just for me @_@. How do I meet these people seriously? Wasn't expecting to get paid $200 dollars for like a few days. Only problem I 'm having is with one pet. all the other ones are okay. Kelly is just missing them so much. I have to go all the way up to the master bedroom to feed her and LEAVE so she'll actually come out and eat her food. She's warming up a bit but it's still pretty bad. Usually she's fine with me but I guess she hasn't been around me for that long before with no one else.

Alright some very interesting stuff has been happen THIS week. i was talking about relationships with a good friend of mine (Cameron). What happen was that we all went out to Sonic's guess I finally broke down a bit, just saying i kind of wanted someone but didn't because I probably wasn't in a position where things can work. School starting back up working quite a bit. Plus the last relationship at the beginning of the year was crazy all over the place. Probably the next day a girl IMed me,lives in the area so we talk a bit. Petty good conversations, I'm usually not like that it's been a long time since I opened up. I was wondering how she found me. I forgot I had an okcupid @_@ so lame, and I had updated recently because a Mindsayer sent me a link a while go. And I had one on there from like 2005 and never ever used. So I just told everything could about myself just straight up no of that BS. Hey I play video games a lot, I act like an 8 year old, yes I still play with toys, no I don't drink or smoke EVER. old them I was the guy you could probably just random l talk to and can put a smile on your face because I'm quite insane hormones and all ^_^ haha. Turned out the girl's pretty cute, so we decide to meet. My head's going ok this is going a bit too fast, but I was tired and my friend was having trouble so he wanted to hang out. So I told him we were going to meet somebody at a bookstore and everything. so we end up meeting it's cold so we all looked crap @_@. She's pretty cool and everything. Saw that she was a bit of a political junkie which I'm like oh God =_= but she explained it well, since she is going to college for it. so not a fanatic and all. WHEW haha. My friend likes her since we had to give him some advice on relationship problem he started having when I was talking to her. we somewhat switched places. She said pretty much the exact same thing I said to him. He looks at me and was like wow you guys are in Sync. I'm like whatever just don't go crazy and be too down you know. So yeah I have a girl that's somewhat interested in me, and I actually didn't try or do anything. what the heck is going on with this month!?!

We sure did a lot since the last time I blogged. I'll break up the pictures for today, tomorrow and possibly the next day.

Let's begin with one happy occasion! There has been a pretty gray stray kitty hanging around our house most of the summer. She looks very young and probably isn't even a year old. She was such a sweety!! It was agreed unanimously in our household that we should take her in. Here's the catch...she's pregnant.

We took her to the vet on Wednesday and gave her the preventive measures needed until she has her kittens.

On Thursday she began to hide in nooks and became very irritable with the other kitties. I knew that she was ready to have her kittens soon so I set up a "nest" in Leif's closet since it was private, quiet and no kitty really went in there. I set down an old blanket, heating pad and towel. I brought her to the closet and immediately she went in, lay down and began pawing the air happily on her back with a loud purr. I knew it was a hit and she would choose to have her kittens there. (At least I hoped)

On Friday Savannah had a few friends over for a sleepover. They were noisy and rambunctious. It was fun. I kept an eye on our newest addition and knew the time grew closer due to her new restlessness & sudden lethargy combination. Savannah was very excited because she had never seen a cat or anything give birth before.

Saturday was a busy day for us. We went to a friend's party for his son. The celebration was for his one year celebration of off treatment. His son was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor called AT/RT in 2006.

Then later that day we went to the Rotary Gardens for a "halloween walk". (Pictures to come soon)

When we got home Josh and I were about to go for a drive when Josh went and checked on the kitty. Sure enough she was in labor and just had one kitten!



After an hour she had two more kittens. The second one looked very similar to the first one.



The third took a little longer to be born. When it was born it squirmed and fought to breath. I was worried because it wasn't breathing for the first minute. I watched carefully and ready to intervene in case the Mama didn't do more. I sighed in relief when I saw his little chest rise and fall for the first time and let out a squeal. It's first sound ever! (We nicknamed that one Scrapper). ;)



When they are old enough we will be giving them away. We will make sure they all have their shots and all that is needed to go to a good home. I'm pretty sure we wont have a problem finding homes for them. :D

Today has been a busy day, again...

First thing i did after breakfast was jogging for an hour.

Then, went to the beautician.

Then came back and worked all afternoon and all evening... I had planned to watch the two Criminal Minds episodes they were showing on TV tonight... but I had to forget it and work on....

 

Now, I’m exhausted. I guess I’m about to go to bed...

 

so there's this place downtown where i live that i absolutely ADORE. it's like a little pegan/magic/whatever shop. they sell insense and zodiac and pegan stuff and what-not. it smells AMAZING in there. i love the smell of insense. my parents hate it.

but anyways.

this place is called Enchanted Paper. last time i was there, which was before i went to camp, there was a help wanted sign. and holy cow. i've always wanted to work there. but at the time i was only 14. not old enough to even get a work permit. so the lady told me to come back when i was 15. bada-bing bada-boom. i'm 15 so i went in there today.

i told the chick that i was hoping i could work part time in the winter after cross country and before spring track. and i really thought about it. i can come by after school and do my homework from 3-5 and close. then i could work all day saturdays. it's 9-5 so it's not like it'll really get into anything i might be doing on the weekends. perfect.

but it turns out that there are A LOT of kids that want to work there. i had no clue that there would be so many people wanting to work there. i had no clue it was so popular.

yet anyways. the chick said that she could definetely use help around the holidays when it gets busy. and someone only 15 would be the perfect choice. because she wouldn't need someone to sit around and help customers. because it gets really busy around the holidays she'll need someone to like file papers and clean up and stuff. but she'll still teach me the register and stuff. and that works for me. because i'll get some experience and all that type of stuff. good right? right.

i would prefer to just sit around in the store and help people that come in, but i'm not old enough and don't have expirience and such. but that's okay. :D



so i left my name and number and stuff. she said she'd call me towards the end of october and if she doesn't to just drop by.

so basically i just got a job for the holidays. :D:D:D:D:D

Just came back from work... taking a break before i set myself to work some more preparing lessons for my classes and correcting tests.

Tomorrow is going to be a hard and busy day as i'm going to work all day at school, like every friday... and then i'll have to stay there from 5 to 8, or even 9 for the parents - teachers meeting... Which implies that i'm going to miss my paintint lesson indeed! How annoying...

Gosh, it's going to be a long hard way to hell... The problem is that i'm going to meet my pupils' parents, but since i've known them for little less than 2 months, it's going to be difficult to talk about them and their results and so on... I can't wait until tomorrow evening when i'll be in the warmth of my bed resting an knitting... I'm dreaming... heheh

Anyway, ten more minutes and i'll be back to work!
