Woke up to a newly posted cache called "Troubled Waters" and it was just about 6 miles from home. So I quickly changed out of my pj's and with Dave in tow headed out for a first to find .... hopefully.
No luck. And the ground around was pretty tore up ..... so either someone had been there prior to myself or the hider was fairly sloppy. I went to where the GPS took me within a few feet and checked all the logical hiding spots. Nothing. Pretty soon here comes my biggest pain in the butt fellow geocacher "hafhas" ..... and I concede the first to find to him ..... when he tells me that I am not the first out there who did not find and finally drove away giving up. And off he goes to find. He didn't find it either. Now this is on a extremely steep hillside ..... which just sucked. My legs are telling me so. Bastard. Finally we all gave up and drove off disgusted.
I was the first to post the no find. And questioned his clues, his hiding abilities and a few other things. In the nicest way possible of course. Next thing you know he posts that he had gone out and checked and all is well ... and gives a new clue ..... "its steep" ...... NO FUCKING SHIT ASSHOLE! I had complained about the fact that it was steep in my previous no find post ..... I knew it was steep ...... and also with this new clue .... "come on now, you are the expert ...." talk about setting me off ..... so off I go again ..... pissed as hell .... and bound and determined to find this son of a bitch.
Dave stays home this time so I take Petey. Well, I rolled down the fucking hill and now have some bumps and bruises to prove it. Petey was no help. Except for licking the bloody wounds. Sitting in the truck .... bewildered and angry .... staring at the hillside .... I realized this jerk is out of his fucking mind. So I drove home again and told him so. Told him the next time I needed a butt load of abuse I'd head out and look for that son of a bitch again. Bastard.

On my second beer ..... trying to calm these geo-nerves down. What kind of a freaking clue is "its steep" ...... holy fucking cow ..... no shit Sherlock .....
Ok ..... done ranting ..... off to the shop to sit in front of the wood stove and contemplate madness ..... grrrrr !
