Completions, Curry, CTR & Craziness

I woke up relativley early this morning, got myself ready to go Ash's - every time I go, I seem to wear nothing but black. Black shirt, black jeans, black socks and black Converse. Maybe I'm subconciously making an appearance rebellion against their Walton's atmosphere. :)

When I was ready, I turned my Wii on and sat down to finish off Super Mario Galaxy.
I only had one star to get - the dodgy dodgy one in Dreadnought Galaxy where you have to blow up the piles of junk. It didn't take me as long as it did on the first scenario, but it still took a few attempts.
Then I fought the final boss again - before getting the message that I'd unlocked the Grand Finale Galaxy.

I expected it to be a really tough trial galaxy with all elements of the other three - ray surfing, bubble blowing and ball rolling - coupled with Thomps galore and break-away floors.
But no - it was a painfully linear walk through the opening level with 100 purple coins in a perfect alignment. Dixie was rather disappointed at the difficulty. :(

So I did that with both Mario and Luigi and marked Super Mario Galaxy down as fully completed on my Backloggery - 242/242 stars.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mam then drove me to Ash's.
She stopped on the way to go into Morgan's Bakery. I asked her if she'd get me a flake boat - because I proper haven't had one in ages.
She gave me a bag with two in - saying the other one was for Ash.

Mam thought she'd get lost on the way to Hemlington - but even after I purposely told her to go the wrong way - she knew I was lying and found the way there herself.

Shock horror - Ash had never even heard of flake boats, let alone eaten one. She liked it though. :)
How could she not? They're bloody epic.

We didn't have any idea of what we could do today - so I asked Ash to carry on with her save on Silent Hill 4. I like watching her play it - but she gave up after a short while, saying she couldn't be arsed.

Then came the boredom that lasted about 3 hours.
Literally, we were both sat on Ash's bed talking about NOTHING.
Usually I can talk to Ash for a few hours before we get bored of each others' voices and run out of topics - but it didn't even seem like we had a bloody starting topic today.

We sat outside on the swing for a while, but it was bloody freezing - yet I refused to admit to Ash that I was cold. :)
Dixie are hardcore.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After a while, we went into Denham's room.
He was playing Saints Row 2, so I sat on the end of his bed, Ash sat at the other end - so I was sat between Ash and the desk where Denham was.

I suggested to Ash that she try playing Bully: Scholarship Edition. They have it on the 360. Oddly enough, Ash showed interest and started herself an account on the 360 and a new save.
So that must've been the first time Ash had played on their 360. :/

I was talking to them both - alternating views of who's game I was watching and commenting on.
Ash seemed to get right into Bully - she likes it. I can see her completing the linear mission structure anyway, but she's not a mental completionist like I am, so she probably wouldn't go to collect everything.
She's so dozy though - it's like she has no will to figure out a puzzle for herself - she kept asking me which way to go and what to do on some of the missions - even with the bloody mission hints.

And it was proper hilarious watching both Ash and Denham failing on the English class. Oh, dsylexics. They amuse me so. :)

Shelly rang me amidst this, so I made Ash talk to her - seeing as how they haven't spoken in weeks.
So Ash was on my mobile for about 20 minutes while I took over the controller and finished another mission. It's so weird playing it on the 360 - several times I found myself moving the controller to attack, the same way you would with the Wii remote. Duhhh. :)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For tea, Ash's dad had made chicken curry.
Now, I can't stand curry in any way, shape or form. Oddly enough, I hadn't even been asked if I liked it or not - usually I get asked before it's made.

I was asked though - when it was in front of me.
"I didn't ask, do you like chicken curry?"
"Nope. Not at all - but I'll eat it."

Ash's mam was quite surprised but I kept to my word - I did eat all of it.
Chicken curry with egg fried rice and chips - most of it was alright, but the sauce wasn't the most tasty thing ever. It WAS better than I thought it would be though. So I wasn't rude, I ate it all, like I said I would.
And I hogged a shitload of the prawn crackers - because they're just epic. :)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We went back into the room afterwards and Ash's mam gave us a bowl of sweets each. Minstrels, Moam Stripes, strawberry bon bons and midget gems. I had a massive sugar rush, got in Ash's wheelchair and was rolling up and down the room for about an hour pulling off wheelies. :)
Ash said: "Pull back then push forward hard" - and after a few attempts I had it mastered. :)

I had about eight close encounters where I almost tipped myself over backwards - Ash grabbed me by the arm one of the times and pulled me back upright. She proper panicked lmfao.

Denham challenged me to Crash Team Racing.
The last time I played CTR was when I completed it at my nana's in around March. After the first race though, I'd gotten used to the controls again.

I kick Denham's arse at Super Smash Bros. Brawl - but he's pretty good at CTR, he's a challenge. For most of it, we were evenly matched.
He won the first cup, we drew on the second cup and I won the third one.
He played as N. Gin and I played as Tiny Tiger. Ash was sat behind us, watching.

Moment of hilarity:
Denham: "Eat my BOMB!" *falls off the edge in the process*
Dixie: "EAT THE FALLING OFF THE EDGE!"

And this happened about THREE times - every time with increasing hilarity. :)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Denham grew tired of the malarkey after around an hour and several cups - and he went back into the living room. This was shortly before Ash practically kicked me backwards, clunking her leg down on my lap and told me to warm her feet up. They'd gone purple due to her dodgy circulation - so I was rubbing them for about 15 minutes to warm them up. This just proves I'm not a normal person - upon hearing that request most people would be like "Er, no!" - but I didn't decline or even comment.
And I think Ash trusts me more and more each week now...

Ash and I finished the night with 20 minutes of play-fighting. :)
I had her pinned to the bed tickling her and pushing on her pressure points in her neck so she was laughing and screaming at the same time. Sounded proper fucked. :)

Hedgehogs In My Alveoli

I woke up at half 5 in the morning.
I had a temperature and a migraine.
I took off my pyjama shirt and turned on my pillar fan.

The fan made me cold, but I was still too warm.
That makes no sense.
My body was cold but my head was warm.

I've spent the whole of today lazing around in my pyjamas listening to my chest.
I hate it when I can hear myself breathe.

I definatley have a chest infection.
It's unsual for me to get them at this time of year though.
I normally get them in the winter - November time, or in the summer - around August.

I have that breathing sound.
The inhale is really long and laboured and the exhale sounds like I have expanding and contracting hedgehogs rubbing their spines against whiteboards in my chest.

Mam's making me overdose on all sorts of tablets and medicines.
I had Anadin Extra this morning for my fever and migraine - and you're not meant to mix them with anything else that has paracetamol in them.
I'm also not meant to take them because I'm asthmatic.

She then goes out and gets me cough medicine and Day Nurse.
I've been taking those all day.

Luckily, she's got me chocolate, cheeseburgers and Pepsi Max to balance it out. :)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I ate chicken noodles for my lunch and finished off Wario Ware: Smooth Moves.
For months now, I thought I had all of the pose cards - but I was actually missing 3 from the shitty Orbulon level.
Having been playing Bully for hours on end, I'm now used to the Nunchuk controls - so I sat myself down and collected the missing cards.
I now have the shiny pink flower. My Backloggery is no longer lying. :)

Speaking of Bully - after I'd gotten those cards, I got my 100.00% completion. :)
All I had left to do was to beat the arcade game scores. After I'd done that, my score shot up to 100%, from 98%.
That's a bit glitchy, I don't think that one score was worth 2%, when some missions aren't even worth a full percent.

Either way - 100.00% now. :)
I gave myself a Master Crystal on my Backloggery.

The rules say you should only give yourself them for speed runs and challenges.
I would say that games like Zelda and Paper Mario - anything that has a STUPID load of collectibles - if you manage to get EVERYTHING - that's mastering a game.

Crystals for me. :)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I've spent a bit of time finishing off my Unit 2 Photography sketchbook.
Paul says he wants our Unit 1 books tomorrow - but the way my chest sounds, I won't even be going to college tomorrow.
(Hopefully... HOPEFULLY...)

I can't stay off on Tuesday though - I need to go in for my English lesson.
Exam on Friday. Gahhh...

I'll probably be going to the doctors after my lesson on Tuesday though.
God knows when Paul will get these sketchbooks.

Whatever - he says we have 2 weeks before the moderation.
I can swing that. I'm awesome.
Unlike most people in the group - I actually do work on my sketchbook.
Decent work, at that. :P

Avarage Saturday Stunt

My room's been a bomb site all week, and I actually haven't been arsed to sort it out until this morning.
Seeing as how I got up stupidly early, without the aid of an alarm - I used this time to my advantage, cleaned my room, hoovered it all out, took a shower and restarted my save on Bully.

I've decided I'm not satisfied with completing the game with 97% - unable to gain the 100% because of the poxy glitch. So, I'll take all precautions against the glitch and own this game... Mwah.

I'm so glad to have a 3-day weekend, what with it being May Day on Monday, we have a bank holiday.
College is absolutley doing my tits in at the moment.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'd gotten to around 7% in, and was at the final two missions on chapter 1 - Ashleigh arrives.
She sits on the bed beside me, talks to me while she watches me complete one of the missions.
Shelly arrived afterwards and joined us.

Once chapter 1 was complete, I made myself a King Pot Noodle - chicken and mushroom - the only flavour I'll eat, though the new donner kebab flavour they've brought out sounds rather tempting.
Ashleigh is an absolute monster for pasta products. If she's not eaten before she comes, I'll always do her Super Noodles or Pasta N Sauce.
Today she opted for bacon noodles.

Both Shelly and Ashleigh were surprised at the amount of EXTRA soy sauce I add to my Pot Noodles.
One sachet is not enough. I must slosh in a good 1/5 of a bottle as well.
We only keep soy sauce in the cupboard for me to add to Pot Noodles. It has no other purpose. :)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ashleigh and I played on World Tour.
Shelly didn't feel she ought to play - because I wanted to play guitar for a change.
I'm always lumbered singing or on drums recently. - And Ashleigh is a stubborn cow, she refuses to let go of Whitey guitar.

I said I'd go on vocals if she desparatley wanted to play - but as usual, she cut off her nose to spite her face.
So sod her, I thought - played 6 songs with Ashleigh, me on lead, her on bass.

We were very easily bored by this lark - so I asked them if they wanted to see the ending to Resident Evil 4.

I was killed previously at the section with the helicopter blowing up all the enemy barracks - but I was careful this time. By careful, I mean that I didn't run out into the gunfire and the explosions.

I soon got past that part - and I FINALLY got to see the little cut-scene I've always wanted to.
When I watched Ian play, he was attacked, we didn't see quite what happened - but all we heard was silly cow Ashley proclaim: "YOU PERVERT!!"

I saw how it happens when it happened to me.
I was knocked back by some monsters - when I was getting up, I brushed against Ashley's backside with my machine gun - and she said the famous line.
The three of us pissed at it. :)

Oh, and Lord Saddler is a lot easier than expected.
Resident Evil 4 sure does love the theme of EYEBALLS when it comes to bosses.

You tear out the eyeball of the first boss - and Saddler and Salazar, you need to shoot eyeballs on their body before you can get their weak spot.
Weird.

Oh lmao - and Ada did her Resident Evil 2 trick - throwing down a rocket launcher in the final boss fight.
We were all like "LOL, RESI 2! GREASY ADA!" - the usual shite we come out with. :)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I made 3 different meals for us all - with slight crossovers.
Grillsteaks and pasta for me, drummers and pasta for Ash and drummers and Rosti for Shelly.

We watched a few episodes of The Catherine Tate Show downstairs.
We recently discovered it's something we all like. I have all 3 series on DVD - so that was easily sorted.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ashleigh went at her new time of 7.
Damn this "family time".
I like watching Britain's Got Talent too - but I don't care who I watch it with. Meh.

Shelly stayed with me.
Of course, we didn't watch BGT this week - we were preoccupied with other things. :)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As Shelly was leaving - she fell down the stairs.
I was still on the landing, and all I heard was this collossal CRASH.
I go to the stairs and see Shelly sprawled out on the mat in front of the door.

I offered to help her up - but she was in too much pain to accept my offer.
I didn't like seeing her hurt, knowing there was nothing I could do to help her.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

She later rang me and said she'd been to hospital - they found she's fractured the side of her foot.
Typical Shelly, that is. :P
I hope she'll be alright.

Little Drummer Dixie!

I finally completed Bully this morning.

But low and behold - I think I've encountered yet another problem.

I'm onto the last chapter - Endless Summer - where one can fuck about and finish collecting things. But, there's two missions that appeared for me during chapter 5 - for about TEN SECONDS, then disappeared and were replaced by another one, which I did instead.

So I'm unsure of if I'll ever be able to do those two missions I missed.

I do have an earlier save - but that was straight after I completed the mission that replaced the ones I missed...

Either way, I have my save and it's at about 94%.

I can't be arsed playing through it AGAIN at the moment - I'd rather complete Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles. Oh, how you were negelected.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My blog title is so inventive. :)

Tee hee, anyway. I started playing through the drum career on World Tour.

I'd started it previously and then given up on it.

Instead of adopting my MUSTGET100% attitude, I was adopting the GETLESSTHAN96%ANDI'LLTEAROUTYOUROVARIES attitude instead.

I need to do the song about 6 times again for Quickplay scores anyway.

So, I went from having 3% completed to having about 40% completed.

I was mainly getting 99%, due to stupid STAR POWER FUCK UPS.

Then in the middle of the songs I started getting a shitload of 100%s. Without even aiming for them.

I'm not sure how I should play if I'm after them. :)

UP YOURS, SHITTY GLITCH!

It's Sunday - cue depression.

It's Easter Sunday - cue chocolate eggs.

It's the Sunday after nana betrayed me - cue hostility.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As you know, I did NOT want to go to nana's at all today.

I do feel it was unfair on my grandad though - he doesn't know, and he hasn't done anything to hurt me before.

Sure, he can annoy me a lot sometimes, but I do greatly regret the time I stabbed him in the arm with my steel model of the Eiffel Tower. I drew blood and I was only about six.

I used my new satchel mam got me from India to take along my Wii.

If I hadn't gone to nana's - I may have had another stab at the coursework - but I thought SERIOUSLY, FUCK IT, and I took along my Wii, determined to get past and conquer the glitch that's slowed my gaming progress all week.

If Bully hadn't glitched on me - I'd be halfway through another game by now.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I didn't talk to nana much at first.

But upon noticing she wasn't acting different towards me - I reduced my hostility levels slightly - turned them to depressive and silenced levels instead.

I ate my lunch - my aunty Jack and uncle Keith were round - I made an attempt to be somewhat pleasant.

Then I got myself some Penguin biscuits and blackcurrant juice - then I went back to Bully.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Over the course of today - I've gone beyond my old save.

MWAH HA HA.

I do believe the discovery of Aquaberry's second stock after the 3rd chapter and the completion of all boxing challenges has assisted me in gaining me some extra percentage.

Knowing how the shitty glitch happened last time and how I could avoid it a second time - I did that bastard mission, got my respect points, got my money, got my outfit, got my room trophy and got my well deserved mission completion.

UP YOURS, YOU SHITTY GLITCH!

DIXIE RAPED YOUR ARSE!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I ate cold pizza and cake for my tea - and mam came for me at about 7.

The repeat of Britain's Got Talent from last night was on ITV2.

I got an odd urge to watch it - so we all did. Of course, those three watching it for a second time.

I truly don't have the same sense of humour as my nana.

Everything that makes her piss makes me smile.

Everything that makes me piss makes her confused.
