Welcome To The Gaming Family...

Last night was spent with Shelly. :)
She'd said that if she'd gone home, she'd have had to share a double bed with Sharon and Charlie. I didn't want her to do that - I'd rather she stayed here with me, and mam agreed for her to.
We didn't end up parting until 3AM, when I went to the airbed and Shelly stayed in my bed - we'd been preoccupied solving that which had been annoying us for the entire weekend. :)

We'd both had a few pints so we were just cuddling up to each other for a long time - and I ended up making Shelly cry, because she's a soppy cow. Lmao.
I felt so safe and secure cuddled up to Shelly, wearing nothing but my white shorts, while she had her buttons opened. I like the way it feels when we cuddle that closely. :D

We've literally spent an entire day welcoming my PS2 into its new life as the slave of a hardcore gamer. :)
I've played through the first few missions of Canis Canem Edit - doing what I knew I would - shaking the controller when the prefects catch me... Damn, I must forget all prior knowledge of the re-make's controls for the damn Wii. :)

Following this, I've completed the first two episodes of Jackass: The Game.
So much better than what I was expecting. It's fairly amusing - stunt mission based, each one complete with various tasks to complete. Nothing's more fun than watching people throw themselves off cliffs and shooting them out of slingshots into greenhouses and swimming pools. :)

Mam got us ordering her some books from Play.com - then she said I could order anything I wanted with my birthday money. Out of the £165 - I'd given her £10 of it to pay for dad's birthday present that she'd gone and gotten for me today. (An indie-rock compilation album) - and I've chosen to save some of it, so I've got £60 of it saved - and the rest was spent on a wonderous combination of 10 rather sexy items.

Mwah, including Guitar Hero: RT80, with a guitar controller. Guitar Hero 1 and 2... Amélie, Parappa The Rapper 2, Evil Dead, Galerians: Ash, Silent Hill 2, Resident Evil Outbreak and Freak Out.

The remaining hours were spent eating hot dogs, pretzels and gummy eyeballs - while we worked away at We Love Katamari.
I wasn't in the mood for co-op play like we were doing last night, so we stuck to level alternation - both of us becoming equally stressed out with the COWBEAR level. Damn it all to hell. I'm slowly gaining a strong dislike for anything patterned with black and white splodges. :P

Completions, Curry, CTR & Craziness

I woke up relativley early this morning, got myself ready to go Ash's - every time I go, I seem to wear nothing but black. Black shirt, black jeans, black socks and black Converse. Maybe I'm subconciously making an appearance rebellion against their Walton's atmosphere. :)

When I was ready, I turned my Wii on and sat down to finish off Super Mario Galaxy.
I only had one star to get - the dodgy dodgy one in Dreadnought Galaxy where you have to blow up the piles of junk. It didn't take me as long as it did on the first scenario, but it still took a few attempts.
Then I fought the final boss again - before getting the message that I'd unlocked the Grand Finale Galaxy.

I expected it to be a really tough trial galaxy with all elements of the other three - ray surfing, bubble blowing and ball rolling - coupled with Thomps galore and break-away floors.
But no - it was a painfully linear walk through the opening level with 100 purple coins in a perfect alignment. Dixie was rather disappointed at the difficulty. :(

So I did that with both Mario and Luigi and marked Super Mario Galaxy down as fully completed on my Backloggery - 242/242 stars.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mam then drove me to Ash's.
She stopped on the way to go into Morgan's Bakery. I asked her if she'd get me a flake boat - because I proper haven't had one in ages.
She gave me a bag with two in - saying the other one was for Ash.

Mam thought she'd get lost on the way to Hemlington - but even after I purposely told her to go the wrong way - she knew I was lying and found the way there herself.

Shock horror - Ash had never even heard of flake boats, let alone eaten one. She liked it though. :)
How could she not? They're bloody epic.

We didn't have any idea of what we could do today - so I asked Ash to carry on with her save on Silent Hill 4. I like watching her play it - but she gave up after a short while, saying she couldn't be arsed.

Then came the boredom that lasted about 3 hours.
Literally, we were both sat on Ash's bed talking about NOTHING.
Usually I can talk to Ash for a few hours before we get bored of each others' voices and run out of topics - but it didn't even seem like we had a bloody starting topic today.

We sat outside on the swing for a while, but it was bloody freezing - yet I refused to admit to Ash that I was cold. :)
Dixie are hardcore.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After a while, we went into Denham's room.
He was playing Saints Row 2, so I sat on the end of his bed, Ash sat at the other end - so I was sat between Ash and the desk where Denham was.

I suggested to Ash that she try playing Bully: Scholarship Edition. They have it on the 360. Oddly enough, Ash showed interest and started herself an account on the 360 and a new save.
So that must've been the first time Ash had played on their 360. :/

I was talking to them both - alternating views of who's game I was watching and commenting on.
Ash seemed to get right into Bully - she likes it. I can see her completing the linear mission structure anyway, but she's not a mental completionist like I am, so she probably wouldn't go to collect everything.
She's so dozy though - it's like she has no will to figure out a puzzle for herself - she kept asking me which way to go and what to do on some of the missions - even with the bloody mission hints.

And it was proper hilarious watching both Ash and Denham failing on the English class. Oh, dsylexics. They amuse me so. :)

Shelly rang me amidst this, so I made Ash talk to her - seeing as how they haven't spoken in weeks.
So Ash was on my mobile for about 20 minutes while I took over the controller and finished another mission. It's so weird playing it on the 360 - several times I found myself moving the controller to attack, the same way you would with the Wii remote. Duhhh. :)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For tea, Ash's dad had made chicken curry.
Now, I can't stand curry in any way, shape or form. Oddly enough, I hadn't even been asked if I liked it or not - usually I get asked before it's made.

I was asked though - when it was in front of me.
"I didn't ask, do you like chicken curry?"
"Nope. Not at all - but I'll eat it."

Ash's mam was quite surprised but I kept to my word - I did eat all of it.
Chicken curry with egg fried rice and chips - most of it was alright, but the sauce wasn't the most tasty thing ever. It WAS better than I thought it would be though. So I wasn't rude, I ate it all, like I said I would.
And I hogged a shitload of the prawn crackers - because they're just epic. :)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We went back into the room afterwards and Ash's mam gave us a bowl of sweets each. Minstrels, Moam Stripes, strawberry bon bons and midget gems. I had a massive sugar rush, got in Ash's wheelchair and was rolling up and down the room for about an hour pulling off wheelies. :)
Ash said: "Pull back then push forward hard" - and after a few attempts I had it mastered. :)

I had about eight close encounters where I almost tipped myself over backwards - Ash grabbed me by the arm one of the times and pulled me back upright. She proper panicked lmfao.

Denham challenged me to Crash Team Racing.
The last time I played CTR was when I completed it at my nana's in around March. After the first race though, I'd gotten used to the controls again.

I kick Denham's arse at Super Smash Bros. Brawl - but he's pretty good at CTR, he's a challenge. For most of it, we were evenly matched.
He won the first cup, we drew on the second cup and I won the third one.
He played as N. Gin and I played as Tiny Tiger. Ash was sat behind us, watching.

Moment of hilarity:
Denham: "Eat my BOMB!" *falls off the edge in the process*
Dixie: "EAT THE FALLING OFF THE EDGE!"

And this happened about THREE times - every time with increasing hilarity. :)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Denham grew tired of the malarkey after around an hour and several cups - and he went back into the living room. This was shortly before Ash practically kicked me backwards, clunking her leg down on my lap and told me to warm her feet up. They'd gone purple due to her dodgy circulation - so I was rubbing them for about 15 minutes to warm them up. This just proves I'm not a normal person - upon hearing that request most people would be like "Er, no!" - but I didn't decline or even comment.
And I think Ash trusts me more and more each week now...

Ash and I finished the night with 20 minutes of play-fighting. :)
I had her pinned to the bed tickling her and pushing on her pressure points in her neck so she was laughing and screaming at the same time. Sounded proper fucked. :)

Rapid Game Switching

Once again, I've had another weird dream.
I often dream about people who used to bully me - but not to the extent that I did last night...

As it were, I was hiding out in a storage cupboard of a library - where I was looked like a cross between my old secondary school and my current college - so I'm unsure as to which one it actually was.
In this cupboard, hiding with me - was another person, a boy with thick brown hair and a chubby face. Him and I were discussing the fact that we often wet ourselves.

(Which I don't - I just have the occassional accident in my sleep - and that only tends to happen if I a) dream about water or b) go to sleep feeling stressed/upset.)

Either way - as the discussion continued - I actually ended up doing that which we were discussing.
Then he seemed to shun me - as if he were embarrassed by what I'd done - despite how hypocritical he was being.
So he shoved me out of the cupboard, and I was instantly met with a gang of around 16 girls, all whom I recognised, all who used to bully me throughout school and college.

I was also stood there in wet jeans - so I made a run for the toilets and locked myself in a cubicle.
Once inside, I was searching my backpack for a pair of clean trousers, when it seemed that the group who confronted me had entered the toilets.
They then proceeded to tear off the door, ripping it clean off its hinges, exposing me stood there in wet underwear.
I started to cry - and cried harder and louder when the lot of them started drenching me with cold water.
All I could hear was myself screaming and all of them laughing - and I could feel the intense cold temperature of that which they were drenching me with.
That's what caused me to wake up - dreaming about water is a bad thing. If it had been warm water, things would have turned out a lot worse.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I went to nana's at around 10.
I sat with them for a while in the living room, watching various shite programming on Zone Horror and eating Morning Coffee biscuits.

I then went into the front bedroom with nana - I played Super Smash Bros. Brawl and she continued on with this jigsaw that she's been doing for about a fortnight.
It's like a 1960's scene at a horse race - everybody is sat on the roofs of their cars, eating sandwiches, watching the horses.
It's a big strange, but. Whatever turns you on. :)

Before I ate Sunday lunch, I managed to complete 5 characters' All-Star mode scenarios.
Ah, progress. How I love making it.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I've been in one of those moods today where I haven't been able to decide on what game to play.
I'd start playing one, but within around 20 minutes of playing it, I'd want to swap to another.
Thus, I've been switching from Super Smash Bros. Brawl to Wii Play to Cooking Mama and back again.

Nana likes Cooking Mama. :)
She tends to like fun games, all the better if they have bright colours or cel-shaded graphics.
She loves watching me play LOZ: Wind Waker - for one.

She had a little go at making a creme caramel pudding.
She did well with the mixing - but not so well with cracking eggs and tipping them out of their moulds.
Everything seemed to either splatter or smash. :D

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

5 Unexplained Occurances In Super Smash Bros. Brawl
- Now answered! :D

1) Why do the characters EAT heart containers?
a) Because they're strawberry flavoured and they have a sweet liquid centre.

2) Why does Ganondorf produce a sword when he taunts, but never uses it to attack?
a) Because it's a rare Hylian replica, handed down from his crazy grandmother who used it to castrate Dodongos for bomb bags.

3) What the hell is going on with Lugi's mushroom-trip final smash?
a) All of those poison 'shrooms are bound to have an affect on you sooner or later...

4) Where the hell are Porky's eyes?
a) Ness tore them out to adorn his Lucas voodoo doll. Poor Porky is now blind and spends his time rampaging around blindly in his robot, seeking revenge.

5) Why does Lucas' snake taunt look SO wrong?
a) Because Nintendo's artists have a little boy fetish.

Tomorrow begins my two and a half weeks back at college for the Step Up to A2 timetable.
I'm not looking forward to that, either. :(

Hedgehogs In My Alveoli

I woke up at half 5 in the morning.
I had a temperature and a migraine.
I took off my pyjama shirt and turned on my pillar fan.

The fan made me cold, but I was still too warm.
That makes no sense.
My body was cold but my head was warm.

I've spent the whole of today lazing around in my pyjamas listening to my chest.
I hate it when I can hear myself breathe.

I definatley have a chest infection.
It's unsual for me to get them at this time of year though.
I normally get them in the winter - November time, or in the summer - around August.

I have that breathing sound.
The inhale is really long and laboured and the exhale sounds like I have expanding and contracting hedgehogs rubbing their spines against whiteboards in my chest.

Mam's making me overdose on all sorts of tablets and medicines.
I had Anadin Extra this morning for my fever and migraine - and you're not meant to mix them with anything else that has paracetamol in them.
I'm also not meant to take them because I'm asthmatic.

She then goes out and gets me cough medicine and Day Nurse.
I've been taking those all day.

Luckily, she's got me chocolate, cheeseburgers and Pepsi Max to balance it out. :)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I ate chicken noodles for my lunch and finished off Wario Ware: Smooth Moves.
For months now, I thought I had all of the pose cards - but I was actually missing 3 from the shitty Orbulon level.
Having been playing Bully for hours on end, I'm now used to the Nunchuk controls - so I sat myself down and collected the missing cards.
I now have the shiny pink flower. My Backloggery is no longer lying. :)

Speaking of Bully - after I'd gotten those cards, I got my 100.00% completion. :)
All I had left to do was to beat the arcade game scores. After I'd done that, my score shot up to 100%, from 98%.
That's a bit glitchy, I don't think that one score was worth 2%, when some missions aren't even worth a full percent.

Either way - 100.00% now. :)
I gave myself a Master Crystal on my Backloggery.

The rules say you should only give yourself them for speed runs and challenges.
I would say that games like Zelda and Paper Mario - anything that has a STUPID load of collectibles - if you manage to get EVERYTHING - that's mastering a game.

Crystals for me. :)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I've spent a bit of time finishing off my Unit 2 Photography sketchbook.
Paul says he wants our Unit 1 books tomorrow - but the way my chest sounds, I won't even be going to college tomorrow.
(Hopefully... HOPEFULLY...)

I can't stay off on Tuesday though - I need to go in for my English lesson.
Exam on Friday. Gahhh...

I'll probably be going to the doctors after my lesson on Tuesday though.
God knows when Paul will get these sketchbooks.

Whatever - he says we have 2 weeks before the moderation.
I can swing that. I'm awesome.
Unlike most people in the group - I actually do work on my sketchbook.
Decent work, at that. :P

Blog #122
Legendary Mood For NO REASON.

I've been in an absolute legendary mood today.
No idea why either.

I went into college early on the college bus - sat around on the round tables killing Lisa's battery with Solitaire.
This is annoying me. According to my stats - I've played 700+ games, but only won around 300 of them.
Sigh, if only there was an undo move tool.

Shelly came in at around half 9, followed by Ash about 5 minutes later.
I gave Ash a birthday hug and we went up to fourth floor.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Another Photography lesson wasted.
The three of us all agree that we can't work on our sketchbooks during the lessons. It's just not the right atmosphere to do so.
I can work at home or in the LRC - but I can barely work in the classroom.

I gave Ash her presents.
My mam had even gone to the trouble of getting her one, and a card.
Mam got her some funky pyjamas - which I can't imagine her wearing - she'll look mental. :)
I quite like them, but I can't really imagine ANYONE wearing them. :D

I knew that my technique of taping three presents together would annoy Ash.
Lmao, she almost resorted to using her scissors to slice the tape apart - until I stopped her, said she had to do it herself. :)

I got her Elite Beat Agents for the DS. From CEX, but I don't think Ash minds - she buys games from there herself. Nothing wrong with 2nd hand games - as long as they work.
(And as long as the skanky fuckers don't sell you a two-disc game with a disc missing... Cough.)

Along with that, a cuddly Buckbeak teddy and the printed T-shirt I mentioned in an earlier blog.
Ash was amused. I hope I get to see her wear it. It'll look funky.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I was a bit overboard on my junk food intake today.
As well as getting my usual Pepsi and crisps - I got one of those 'I'M-A-PRETTY-PRINCESS' marshmallow eggs, some Highland Toffee and my usual Floggs marshmallow with the jelly inside.

I didn't get a sandwich - so my entire afternoon food intake was like 90% sugar.
No wonder I was hyper off my tits for the next few hours.

It was too windy to eat in town - so we took our stuff back to college and ate on the tables beside construction.
It's quieter there - there's just a lot more chavs roaming about.

Ash and I went halves on some doughnuts.
They're being skanky now too - the last time we got them, we got 6 for £1 - but now it's 5 for £1.
I let Ash have 3, seeing as how she was the birthday girl.

Then she dared me to dip random things in the remains of the chocolate sauce.
Like my toffee and my cheese and onion crisps.
The toffee was alright - but the crisps tasted beyond weird.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ash took command of Shelly's DS again - started playing Gardening Mama.
I don't like it when Ash is proper enthralled in something - you just can't attract her attention.

So I annoyed her instead - shaking her wrists so she couldn't keep the DS still.
Then I tickled her and flicked her nose - up until she decided to turn it off and give me attention. :)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I had a bit of a sugar crash in English.
I couldn't stop coughing.
I was choking up chunks of phelgm too.

Argh - SWINE FLU?!

Even Angela said I looked ill.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This was overidden by my hyper burst in Media Studies.
When I get THAT hyper - all I do is TALK.

I was actually being really productive though - I had the courage to ask all the questions I was too shy to ask before. - And believe me, it was a shitload.
I think I was annoying Lewis too. :)

I tried to calm myself down by eating Mentos - but they made me worse!
I looked at the ingredients and noticed why - the second one on the list was SUGAR. :)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Between my note-taking, I was writing random things with my coloured pens.
I chose a different colour for each sentence and wrote something random about the colour I'd chosen.

[Note, BLACK is written in WHITE - as black on a black background wouldn't show up, now would it? :P]

RED is war, blood and INCORRECT ANSWERS.

PINK things tend to be intimate body parts or female underwear. Mmmm, panties...

DARK BLUE tries to be hardcore, but it fails epically.

LIGHT BLUE is for nothing other than baby boys and their fluffy booties.

BROWN is SHITTY. :)

GREEN is the colour of nature and Arriva buses.

BLACK goes with anything. Especially black.

YELLOW is impossible to read on white paper. LOL.

ORANGE is a happy (yet suicidal, depressing and angry) colour. :)

PURPLE is an evil colour. Only true villains wear purple capes.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This state carried on right up until I got on the bus.
I managed to calm down by playing some Solitaire and listening to Blackmore's Night.
A calming combination. :)

When I got home, I ate noodles and finished off the story on Bully: Scholarship Edition.
Currently at 96% - let's see if we can get the 100% this time.

I'm hoping I can. On top of the two missions I missed out last time - I've found one that's not even listed on the GameFAQs guides!
I found it on a Strategy Wiki page though - so someone's acknowledged its existance...
