Yep, it's Parents Having Lunch with the Kids day for one of the grade levels plus Cartoon Ranger's class.
CR had the corndog. I, gulp, had the nachos. And the rest.
I'm glad I have chamomile tea in stock.
It was GREAT to have lunch with CR. He showed me how they do things by going in front of me and getting his plate, etc. He was very happy to have me there. I was very happy to be there, of course. And, I "got the memo." I was wearing a red shirt. More than half the kids I saw today were wearing their red uniform shirts (as opposed to white or blue) so I fit right in. :)
I even went to recess with the kids, which was fun. :)

In other news, ShoeWoman broke a toe. (Imitation being the sincerest form of flattery. I told her, "Please, don't flatter me any more!") My father, The Crunch, broke his wrist.
No, The Crunch was not imitating me. However, he has thusly managed to forestall an examination of his carpal tunnel issues on that same hand. Oh, goodie.

The Space Shuttle boomed sonically overhead this morning at about two minutes past nine. I had forgotten it was to happen until it did so. The windows shook. Thing is, though it's been almost a dozen years since I've lived there, I'm a California girl who grew up in earthquake country. Shaking windows, to me, mean earthquake. Took me a sec to remember where it was.

I’m thinking about watching a movie, or maybe some cartoons, but I can’t decided on what’d be good to watch.
I’m getting tomorrow off from work so I can clean and rearrange my room. It s weird, the other night I was driving somewhere and I was thinking about what to do with any money I might get for my birthday and the first thing that came to mind was shelves from my records. It kinda shook me up a bit. I realized that I must really be growing up. When I was younger I’d laugh at me for “wasting” my money.
Another sign of this change is the fact that I want to go clothes shopping all the times. I mean, for years I spent weekend searching though thrift stores with all the other ratty clothes indie teenagers. Its just so…I donno…fucking clique.

my neice abby whos 2 has 2 broken collar bones because she fell off the table..that kid is so wierd...like the doctor even said that erin and tom are gonna have a hard time telling when shes hurt because she has a high tollerance for pain...shes had broken collar bones for like 3 days and shes running around all crazy like she usually is...the doctor gave her a sling to put on her arm and she goes "no i dont want it" and started taking it off...the kids crazy! she takes after her dad..shes so funny to watch because she entertains herself and does stupid shit!
my sister tai gets outta work at 4 and im gonna see if she wants to go to the tburg fair! shes cool to hang out with when she doesnt have her kids...
