Braves @ MindSay

My calendar is marked, but I won't start packing until a night or two before.

August 12th and 13th = Family Vacation with the Atlanta Braves!

I haven't been to a game in a long while, more like 4 or 5 years, so I'm really excited.

And, on the 13th, after the day game, Jeremy Camp is performing in concert in left field!

And to top off all that, I'll get to see S.H. I haven't seen her in a while, since she moved to Atlanta in the first place. AND, I may be flying down a few days early so we can hang out. She works 3rd shift on weekends--Friday-Sunday--and she's letting me and my family crash in her apartment, so it's the LEAST I can do. Plus, I bought her tickets for Sunday. :)

I can't wait!

• Back to Sugarland for another drinkin' party: Same place where Angie's surprise party took place, except something else was being celebrated...



• The 90's Song of the Day for Sunday: Cancelled like a Sunday morning



• The Houston Astros kicked the Atlanta Braves' ASS!: ...what a history in the making, 18 INNINGS!?!?


• The Houston Astros LAYOUT: ...Like the new plain layout?

Bad News: My Braves lost to tootboy's Mets, 1-4. :(

Good News: My fantabulous Panthers kicked some Patriot butt with a 27-17 win! :)

In other news, I have gotten some homework done, but I'm taking a short break and getting a nice hot shower before I start on the more FUN (sarcasism) work also known as the Senior Thesis!! :P

all 5 teams of the NL East are at .500 and above with the absurd Washington Nationals sitting way up on top.

So July 1st and all 5 teams are doing something that has happened only a few times.

As far as I can tell the last time that a division had all 5 plus team in the division at .500 and above this late in the season is in 1991.  The 7 team AL West ENDED  the season with all 7 teams at 81-81 and up!

BTW, Happy Canada Day to the Toronto Blue Jays and all my Canadian friends.
