here is of a list of things to do when you get bored and there is nothing on TV, your bored of the computer, and you've tryed everything but theres nothing to do.

 

1.  jump out a window for fun.  this helps with hand eye corrordination (i spelled that wrong but i think it was a close guess.)

 

2. go to a store and buy atleast $10 worth of stuff in pennies only

 

3. do some prank phone calls to 911 or 411 or 511 or 611 or 1111 or 011 or 111 they all work..... maybe

 

4. go extreme foldable chairing (i made this up so im a pro at it) you just get a foldable plastic chair and you do flips and stuff on it. If you dont understand just try it and expiriment.

 

5. make a tin foil hat and run around the mall yelling the british are coming, or any other random phrase you can think of.

 

6.  go to your neighbors house and leave a random object at their doorstep ring the doorbell and run.  (a good thing to leave is something like soap and they'll be like wtf?)

 

i just made these all up but you should deffinatly try them.

Im not really in a good mood. Freakin tired from working on the deck which is going to be done tomorrow ^_^. It took 3hrs to get the boards straight on the frame and another hour to get a board to fit on one side. But all the boards are nailed in except the last 3 b/c i have to chip away concrete to get it in place... what fun. Tomorrow i still have a butt load to do. I have to finish the deck, dig up the side of the fence and fill it with rocks, break up the concrete foundations, and a bunch of ther bullshit that was added to my to-do list. Not to continue on the same old shit as usual... but that "longing for  love" w/e feeling resurface. For the past week i finally thought i got rid of it to... fucking guess not.. just something else that adds to my headache during the day while im working... but w/e as long as it subsides im cool....

The Death of Music..

came swiftly with the invention of soft rock and easy listening tunes. Music has strayed away from the artistic expressionism it spawned from. How rare it is these days to actually listen to a work that fills your senses and encompasses your being with some emotion and feeling? The songs that play on the radio have become bland and lifeless; they're just fillers to destroy the silence that people claim to hate. How many people turn on the radio just to make the time spent commuting to work more "bearable"? How many people plug themselves into mp3 players just to seem like they’re doing something? It’s horrible for me when I hear that a person likes a song only because it “has a good beat”. That’s not music’s purpose. It’s not just a simple repetition of beats and patterns; it’s ART. Music shouldn’t be dead. It’s not meant to be listened with such passivity!

I was at Home Depot the other day searching for 2x4’s and Coldplay's "Clocks" began playing. It wasn't loud. It wasn't the emphasis of the experience spent at Home Depot. It just served as a tune that was easy to listen to. The consumers shopping for building goods were only there to shop for building goods. The song was used a method to make shopping relaxing. Coldplay deserved better. And to play that song there and now was to belittle its worth and strip it of its emotional impact. I do admit that some songs were created to instill sensations of emotional emptiness and stoicism; the lack of emotion is an emotion in itself. But this wasn’t “Clock”’s purpose. It’s not elevator music.

I guess that term is what I’m arguing against, the dreadful “elevator music”, the horrible tunes that filter through softspeakers in elevators to alleviate the awkward tension created when groups of strangers are clustered together. In that situation, music is used not as an art form but as a tool. It forms a wall between each person and takes from them the intimacy typical of the situation they are placed in. Agh, mind is branching off into so many directions. I’m going to take a walk.

Oh, and on other side-complaints:

Damn you, 104.3. Damn you, 103.5. And damn you, all of the radio stations out there who play “soft rock” and waste the talents of worthier musicians.

Stupid KROQ. You money-greedy pig. Stop exploiting your artists. You’re not diverse. You just want to reach a bigger audience. You don’t play rock. You only play what brings you more money.

People ought to stop flipping out their cell phones when they’re idle. Stop checking your phonebooks. If someone’s going to call you, then they’re going to call you. If you want to call someone, then call someone. Don’t call someone just to say, “I’m bored.” Stop playing with ring tones. And no one can look cool while taking a picture with their camera phone. I hate that snapshot sound.

Lance Armstrong isn’t the only bicyclist out there. There’s a world of professional bicyclists who race competitively. So when I tell you I’m training, don’t ask me if I’m trying to be like Lance. I’m just doing what I love doing.

i love the mornings. 3 am is just lovely. the sky is clear, the stars shine brighter. the air is sharp and lamplights burn out when i walk under them. i could see my breath and there is hardly a person around. and the thing is.... the walk sign turns on as soon as i touch the button. those busy intersections where i'd wait minutes for the light to turn red, giving me the right of way to walk. but at this hour, there's hardly a car. and there's hardly a wait before the light turns yellow to red. so, whoo hoo! oh, and i was just picking up my bike that i left yesterday. oh! these words sound familiar......

blog entries are.....thoughts of people. thoughts that are not necessarily intended for reading. this is the substitute for a diary. but as technology progress, forget the pencil and ink it out! or pixelize your entries with your computer screen. if blog entries were just for public viewing, you might as well make it interesting. give it a storyline. but, it's your day to day life. and if you write it, you want someone to read it. you're reading this right now. but if you're still reading, then that means it's still interesting.

Do you remember February 1993 when a young 3 yr. old was taken from a Shopping mall in Liverpool, NY by two 10-year-old boys? Jamie Bulger walked away from his mother for only a second and Jon Venables took his hand and led him out of the mall with his friend Robert Thompson. They took Jamie on a walk for over 2 and a half miles, along the way stopping every now and again to torture the poor little boy who was crying constantly for his mommy. Finally they stopped at a railway track where they brutally kicked him, threw stones at him, rubbed paint in his eyes and pushed batteries up his anus. It was actually worse than this... What these two boys did was so horrendous that Jamie's mother was FORBIDDEN to identify his body. They then left his beaten small body on the tracks so a train could run him over to hide the mess they had created. These two boys, even being boys, understood what they did was wrong, hence trying to make it look like an accident. This week Lady Justice Butler-Sloss has awarded the two boys anonymity for the rest of their lives when they leave custody with new identities. We cannot let this happen. They will also leave early this year only serving just over half of their sentence. One paper even stated that Robert may go on to a University. They are getting away with their crime. They disgustingly and violently took Jamie's life away. - in return they get a new life. Please read it carefully... then add your name at the end... and send it to everyone you can!
