What I am about to tell you all is second hand information, although it comes from 2 people that I trust, because I didn't see it happen and I can not prove it, there is not much I can do with this information. This couple, who are married and both drive for the same company my Hubby does, tells us something that I found horrible, and hard to handle..
There is a dairy farm that we use to pick up milk from, which now uses another trucking company. They have a dairy system much like the picture where they milk the cows on a revolving floor , they put the milkers on, at one spot and by the time the floor has revolved around the milkers come off and the cow is let out. Ok , so this guy was checking his tank while it was being filled with milk, and he happened to look inside the window, inside he could see that there was this Mexican, which at these dairy I would assume are illegals, (which is pretty much all they hire,)because surely if they were US citizens they would know a few words of English, but then I could be wrong on that.Well he sees one of the milkers with a blow torch and has it aimed at the cows udders, burning the hairs off their bags, we think that is the reason, who knows what the reason really was for pete sakes, This guy goes and gets his wife so she can see what is happening, and all they can see is lots of flames coming out the torch and the cows are kicking and stomping and trying to get away, which of coarse they can not since they have their necks in lock up, the only thing we can figure out about what in the hell they were trying to do , was to singe the hair off their udders, for what reason is only known to them. Now I didn't see it happen, but I believe this couple, they don't lie. How terrible is that? I can't imagine the horror and pain these cows endured having there teets and bag burned with a torch. This world never ceases to amaze me, at how low man can go.
