Birthday Cake @ MindSay

yesterday my sister  decided to throw me a  B-day party.

and it was also mine and curtis's 13 months togther.^_^

well we  got there and had some family over.

 not many showed up but thats ok more food for us :D

anyway she  got me a  coffee maker complete with coffee filters and coffee ^_^

how awesome is a  sister  like that..

then she bought me a  sexy black  bra  for a  sexy  girl like me LOL.. complete with birthday cards

i also got home made carmel apples, a 12  things of mojitos and home made lasagna and  garlic breadsticks .NUMMY!!

 the kidlets and the assortment of neices and nephew got car markers and decided to play with my car LOL..

it was too funny . they made sure i knew i was 33 LOL

 when the food was eaten  and mojitos  consumed.  it was time for cake.

i blew out my candles. yes i had cake frosting in my hair LOL dont ask why

 and yes  those are pickles  behind the cake. dont ask why my sister had them out on the table

my sis  tried to hit me with a slice of cake. she got curtis instead BAHAHAHA

 the food fight was on :D  in one picture with curtis and my sister in the background  my  nephew was calmy eating cake  LOL

had plenty of fun and pictures and  yes  a  ton of cake was saved and eaten :D

but we all had a great  day. oh yah and she had the temp hair color.  so i went and had fun with curtis ^_^

 and  several of the kidlets had their hair done.

brett wasnt there at the time he was with my stepdad at the store

 and then later curtis cousin went and took us out  for chinese food and then we watched a  disney movie per curtis request. so i was happy to fall in to bed last night and just  snuggle with  curtis..

 havent had that much fun for my birthday in a while LOL..

 

 

 SO.

Yesterday was my birthday.

It was sweet.

I didn't really do anything in the morning, but I went to lunch with Maddy and hung out at her house, then I went and got my chicks for fair.

They are only cute for about a week, then they turn into big stinky fat roasters.

Maybe I will win champion this year.: D

Ummm...SO got chicks, went to 4-H.

I had cake at home with the fam bam, and then at 4-H my advisor got me a cake.

So. Lots of cake.

And then I took Mitchell back to moms because he had some really important business.

Yeah, right.

Then, Dan called and asked if I would happen to be in town, so he could give me my present.

AHH!

I love birthdays.

It is better than Christmas.

Because it is warm( instead of winter it is summer,) its just about you. And you are allowed to be selfish : D

Haha.

SO thank you to all my friends who wished me happy birthday.

And thank you to Maddy for lunch. Yay for Baconaters.

Yesterday our boy turned 5.  That's incredible.  I'm quite sure that I'll say that every year on his birthday, but every year I just can't believe how big he's gotten and how much he has grown up (so far.)

First up in our birthday slide show is Av's birthday eye patch.  He specifically requested a rainbow cupcake with a number 5 candle on top.  We promised him that he didn't have to wear a patch on his birthday proper, so this is from the day before.



Later that night, Shiny and I made a "Wall-O'-Avi" with a homemade construction paper banner.  Each picture is a different birthday from start - 5.  (It was Av's suggestions to add the red stars with the numbers on it)



Once our family arrived (his party with friends was back on the 16th) we settled in for cake.  Av specifically requested a Thomas the Tank Engine cake just like the one at the grocery store, so I made one the best I could, but Av was super happy with it.  His primary concern was that we didn't set his trains on fire when we lit the birthday candles.



After cake, it was time for presents.  Let's just say that our living room has now been taken over by the beast that is known as Thomas trains.  In addition to more train tracks, train accessories, and trains.  Av also got a Cars playset and an electronic drum kit (it has an off switch - I swear! Besides, how else will the kid become the next Ringo/Dave Grohl/Phil Collins without one?  You got to start somewhere...).



After the family left and toys were played with for a bit, we went to a friend's holiday party.  Av picked that he wanted to go to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner, but we decided to wait and go there for lunch today instead.  (Our waitress was nice enough to bring Av a birthday decorated cake with a candle, but not sing.)

So yesterday concluded tired, but eating leftover cake - just one more piece before bedtime...



Happy birthday Bug.

Soo tonight i am celebrating my 5th birthday. Pretty exciting. No i am not acvtually turning 5 i'm 16 actually. So let me explain. MY sister is pregnant and she loves to cook so she was craving cake so she made a reeses peices cake this moring. and my stepdad said that we should be celebrating a birthday with a cake soo amazing. Well when I was four and my brother's birthday came along in september he got two birthdays within the month. So being young i thought that a whole year went by and that i had missed my 5th birthday. I was confused me big time. So this moring i pipped in that i missed my 5th birthday so tonight we should celebrate it after work. So now we have a perfect excuse to eat yummy food. So my mom is going to buy a 5th bday candle and balloons and we are going to have out cake and eat it to. To say the least i am very excited to celebrate and being that the birthday is for me turing 5 i think that it gives me the perfect excuse to act 5 aswell. YAY
