Pakistan's Former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto was assassinated today.
I really don't feel like talking about the details of the attack, so there's a link bellow this line.

I really can't begin to say how bad this is, for us. Al Qaeda is in Pakistan. Yeah, and guess what, Bhutto said she supports the US in the War on Terror.

Now let me tell you something: Al Qaeda has been in Pakistan for a couple of years now with bin Laden (LINK). Now they are taking some action that draws the world's attention.
You might say "bin Laden is in Pakistan? So what?" Well, Pakistan has NUKES, in comparison to Iran, who gave up their weapons program 3-4 years ago. bin Laden is getting more and more control of Pakistan. That is one of the reasons Pakistan's prime minister declared marshal law a few months ago.
So what will happen if bin Laden gets those nukes? I don't know that, but it can't be anything good.

NEW YORK TIMES EDITORIAL: Senator Tom Coburn, Republican of Oklahoma, “stands alone in blocking final passage of a suicide prevention bill in fear that the government’s record-keeping on troubled vets might somehow crimp their ability to purchase handguns.”
You really have to love a political Right-winger who goes out of his way to first drive soldiers nuts, and then put guns in their hands in domestic civilian environments. How many must be allowed to kill their fellow Americans before nuts like Coburn are removed from office?
OK! We are keeping Bush. He has caused the death of a half-million or more Iraqis civilians; has destroyed their infrastructure and, as a result, has made cholera a common problem throughout northern Iraq.
That’s cool. Killing innocent people has been a Right-wing neo-con evangelical goal for ... well, since the Pilgrims and their witch trials? Or is it since the evangelicals were Roman Catholics claiming authority through Peter, but abandoning all of Peter’s teachings in favor of the suicidal teachings of Paul?
Our military suicide rate is pushing all-time record numbers. These are the workers of tomorrow, the people who would be supporting baby-boomer retirement and Social Security Disability.
Get it? Bush has intentionally destroyed our military so that he would be proved right in his claims that Social security was doomed; and thus needed to be privatized.
Of course, American Medical Care is privatized, and forty-percent of Americans face death from anything resembling a treatable, but in some way serious, medical condition.
The policy of the most harm to the most people is in full force. By their failure to impeach Bush and Cheney, their failure to force the withdrawal of troops from Iraq, the Democratic Party is proving itself a signatory to the Most Harm Doctrine.
Look at the credit markets. The Republicans are oh so happy to see them falter and fail; of course, you would need to examine their finances to learn just how much of their resources have been exported, and so are exempt from the coming collapse.
China is buying our debt, keeping interest rates low, awaiting the opportunity to plunge America into a depression far worse than that of the 1930's.
China knows, as do the terrorists, America has lost self-sufficiency. Recovery from a depression would take far more than we have. Again, far more because we had a baby-boom and the work force who would man the recovery are being mentally and physically destroyed by Bush and his imaginary “War on Terror.”
Virginia Tech was an act of terror which occurred right on predicted schedule. That’s right, you are new to this blog and Shreknangst blogs which carried my newspaper column – the Virginia Tech slaughter was predicted over a year before it happened.

New Dimensions, WERU, came on as I was thinking of Bin Laden and his call to Martyrdom. I was thinking that Muslim women suicide bomber must all be whores, and possibly lesbian whores.
Perverse associations, I love them.
It is said that Muslim martyrs will be greeted by, or receive in, heaven seventy virgins. A man receives seventy virgins, who he deflowers, and then has seventy shrewish angry woman whose virtue he has stolen and whose virtuous lives he has defiled. Ah Muslim heavenly logic.
It is said that Muslim martyrs will be greeted by, or receive in, heaven seventy virgins; but what is the martyr is a woman? To want the female virgins she must be a lesbian; to want seventy, she must be a whore. Certainly if she is to receive seventy male virgins, to have seventy men, she most certainly must be a whore.
Strange associations, strange when you carry the logic to its end. It is easy to pick on Arab Muslims, they have produced nothing, are worthy of nothing, their history is stolen from those who have produced and created that history. You know it is in the DNA and thus irrefutable.
Christian heaven is every bit as stupid as the Muslim concept. The idea that there is a deity who created all life so that there would be virtuous people who would sit for all eternity praising and singing the praises of that deity; that is the Christian Heaven.
How stupid can that deity be? This all knowing, all perfect, supreme above all other Gods (Thou shall put no God before me?) And it cannot create these faithful directly? It must create all the evil and pain? What a sadistic deity this Christian God must be.
But the words, “Thou shall put no God before me” are Hebrew, not Christian. Does this make the Judaic deity stupid? Or was it Moses speaking in the context of the time? Was it Moses imposing the idea that it was time to evolve the faith into a unity faith?
The laws of Moses are remarkably like the laws of the Hittite as they were written down in 1500 BCE. The psalms are from the Canaanite. Much of the scripture is from the Hindu, from the Rig Veda of 1500 BCE. The places of “creation” are all Eastern Anatolian.
Be they Ashkenazi-Levite, or Hindu-Brahman, the same priestly pair of yDNA haplotypes appears in both. These are from Haplogroup J2 and R1a1. Where did these two come from? Where did they evolve? And why have they been bound together for the ten thousand years of our agrarian-pastoral existence?
How do we place this together into a coherent story, a mythology which is available to the minds of those who, until now, could not see?
Abracadabra, “I will create as I speak”: “As I ask, so shall I receive.’ The magic words of childhood and of ancient Middle Eastern faith.
The power of words to change a person’s life, the life of a family, the life of a heritage, the lives of a tribe and a clan. The power of words to alter beliefs and perceptions so that they become reality. Is it not the power tapped by advertising, mass marketing, or politics?
Perception controls reality. As you see, as you hear, so it is. Strength of individual will counters the weakness of ignorant mobs bent on the destruction of humanity. Humanity cannot be destroyed. It would be the height of stupidity, or evil, for a Creator to create for the purpose of destruction; or is suffering entertainment for the Gods?
Creation is creation. The parent creates a child; the child evolves in the womb and eventually replaces the parent. Life is the experience we have in the womb; it is learning to know good from evil, joy from sorrow. It is learning to live, alone, within ones own skin.

Hey guys, Bennie is back; and he’s praising a martyrs death. But he is not about to choose one for himself.
How is this for a speech: "What is this status that the best of mankind wished for himself? "He wished to be a martyr. He himself said: 'By Him in whose hands my life is! I would love to attack and be martyred."
WOW! How stupid are these arabs? They cannot build anything, they cannot produce anything; they have nothing but their ability to die for stupidity.
Is Bennie out there with a bomb strapped to his chest? Or is he hiding like a weasel? Or should we say Rabbit; in a hole jumping any female he can find who is dumb enough to submit to him?
Gee wiz, Bush has proclaimed Bin Laden irrelevant; Bush-baby has said, "I truly am not that concerned about him." Well gee, and this president believes he can lead us to victory? He is not even concerned where the leadership of the opposition is holed up.
Man! Do you not get it yet? Bin Laden and Bush are working together to destroy America. Bennie-boy is in Pakistan, and Bush-baby has gone out of his way to make Pakistan our good buddy; he has done so by rewarding Pakistan for NOT finding Bennie.
Bush has made it perfectly clear, if you have been following Iraqis visa data, that working with America will NOT get you safe haven.
Funding the insurgents, as the Saudis do ... you remember the Saudis, the guys who paid Bush senior millions; the Saudis who provided nineteen of the twenty involved in 9/11; anti-democratic Saudis who are funding the insurgents who are killing people at their prayers ... surely you remember the Saudis.
Bush supports any who support terrorists and insurgents. But we cannot impeach Bush. To impeach Bush would get Cheney into the Whitehouse.
We are talking the same Cheney who has claimed to NOT be a part of the Executive Branch, and also claimed to also NOT be part of the Legislative. Why? Because his duties as Vice-President seem to require him to be a part of both branches.
Love it! If you belong to both you belong to neither; but wield power in both. OK, so the subject is Bennie. Bin Laden appears to be alive, a bit worse for wear, but getting better, and more specialized, medical treatment than is available to the average American.
Love it! Next we will hear about more terrorism in America. OH! Right! Cousin Mike Chertoff has already said he expects there will be more terrorism next month. Do you think he was talking to Bennie? Maybe while he was arranging for more insulin, or that new dialysis machine to be airlifted on a Haliburton air transport.
Well, Bennie has made it clear that the Prophet Mohammed wanted to be a martyr; therefore the idiots who follow his teachings should all want to be martyrs.
Hey! That might work. But idiots will kill for any doctrine. Think about our Christian fundamentalists: Jesus said, live by the sword, die by the sword; so the fundamentalists are advocating that everyone pick up the nearest sword and kill as many arabs as they can find.
Hum? Do they really say that? Or is it only the implication inherent in “support the troops” mentalities that pay for weapons of mass destruction, but shortchange the wounded and the families of the dead?
Man I love it. The dollar is getting weak. We have an economy that is being exported; even Haliburton has moved its executive functions to Saudis territory. Hey! Right! Good move! Go to Bin Laden’s homeland for safety and economic security.
While they are at it, take the billions Americans are paying out and deposit in Europe. Hey guys, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was 14000, Friday the Thirteenth; think a September plunge to 12000?
