This is my last little plug, and I would really appreciate it if ALL of you helped out (and I can go on the website to check if you did!)
For the last three years, our psychology club/psi chi chapter here on campus has participated in a Big Brothers Big Sisters fundraiser (i don't know if its a national thing or if just the local chapter here does it) called "Bowl for Kids' Sake". Teams are put together through various businesses, organizations, or clubs and these teams collect pledges for the big event: Bowling! how much the organization gets isn't based off of how well the teams do, its pretty much just something fun for us for helping out :)
But anyway, Big Brothers Big Sisters is in much need of funding now, just as most everyone else is. You can help out by going to
http://www.firstgiving.com/hsupsych and making a donation. If every single person that lists me as a friend on here went and donated just $1, that would be another $165 for this program. I've even gone on there and donated $1 that way you don't have to worry about looking like a jackass for being the person that only donated $1 :) This is very much appreciated, and please pass the link on to family, friends, co-workers, etc. I'm so broke I've had nothing to eat but ramen and the occasional vegetable for the last month, and even I gave up a piece of my extremely tight budget.
If I can do it, YOU can do it!
Thank you so much for all your help, it costs $1,200 just to fund one match for a whole year and only half as many teams as last year are particpating.
