My sister is coming to visit tomorrow.. she moved to savannah when she left her husband..they were living down on Ft Benning, GA, only about 150 miles from my house..I am just north of Atlanta, considered 'atlanta'... Atlanta is a huge area.. I am about 40 miles from Hartsfield Airport. 30 miles from IKEA.. LOL
So, we will:
Be going to Ikea
Getting some balloons and decorations
Getting the cake
Picking up some more sodas, teas and ice. I shopped today for all sortsa snackies, cheeses, dips..the like. Burger buns etc.
I have a client scheduled at 5:30, sis will get in the hot tub, and after that I will be ready to drop dead..LOL.
Then the party Saturday. His work told him, that cause of the storms, they need supplies sent out, and they also fired 2 drivers this week, so he needed to work..
ACK! I called dispatch, and told them about the surprise party and BEGGED them to let him work a short city route..which does NOT EVER gaurantee a timely home arrival, too many variables..but I am going to PRAY for the best, and not even give voice to the murphys laws that cover this situation!!!! ACK!
He said he will be leaving at 4 am..and should be home by noon ish.. they are supposed to be coming in the middle of the night to decorate the lawn.. he will see it when he goes out the driveway on his way to work..he is a VERY observant guy.
But then again.. he may not.. lol...
I am glad my sister is coming.. this will be her second time here at my house..and I have fixed it up since she was here, it looks nice and homey and inviting.. I just finished cleaning and organizing my office, you can actually get thru the room now... and I hung purple sheer curtains up, and the room looks so much nicer.
ok, hubbys alarm has gone off 3 times now.. I think its winning, and I am drooping so its my turn for the mattress..yeah!
watched big brother 6 tonite, the live feeds were supposed to start right away, but they didnt until the west coast saw it.. darn california... havent they fallen off yet? A very 'pretty boy' contestants this year, everyone is so handsome and beautiful.. it looks like its going to be like the bold and beautiful soap opera on crack. I am disappointed.. I like every day people.. not just the stepford people.
