We are in the dock in Nashville now waiting to be loaded for our Miami run. We delivered in Nashville early today, then came here, dropped the trailer, and went to Opry Mills. It's a big mall where Opryland once stood. There is a Gibson music store and factory inside. They actually build banjos and mandolins there and you can watch them through glass panes. Here is a guy clamping together the parts of a mandolin.
Here, he is doing some detail work.
This guy is putting the strings on the mandolin.
Here are some parts.
More parts in the workshop.
The sanding room with a row of guitars outside.
And another row of Gibson guitars.
The mall had a seafood restaurant with an aquarium outside and some pretty big fish in it.
There was a music store with some of Alan Jackson's clothes on display.
Here is the note inside the case.
They also had suits from Hank Williams Jr, Waylon Jennings and Johnny Cash, and Ricky Van Sheltons first guitar on display.
Here is the note from inside that display case.
Looks like they got the trailer loaded while I was posting this. We are off to Miami.
