Got The Band Together Again!

Today wasn't a Saturday of epic proportions - but it was still pretty good.
I've spent the day with Ashleigh and Shelly - playing through the co-op career on Guitar Hero III, playing some band career on Guitar Hero: Metallica and some random quickplay songs on Guitar Hero: World Tour.

It's a breakthrough today - we actually got Ash to go on drums again!
On easy of course - I'm a twat who wants money, so I wouldn't let her use auto-kick. She wasn't as arsed as I expected though.
And with that, I completed the epicness and got Shelly to sing.

So Shelly was sat on my bed with the microphone, Ash was on drums, smashing away - and I was stood next to her jumping around with the guitar. We're a half-epic band. :D

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Isn't this the most fucking ridiculous handbag ever?

I think it's fucking hilarious - Shelly brought it with her today.
I mean for fuck's sake come on, it says KISS. :D

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Then we had a change of game and a change of console - the three of us played Mario Party 5.
A team battle - Ash and Shelly against me and a computer player.

Ashleigh played as Luigi, I played as Peach, Shelly played as Yoshi and the computer player was Boo.
Boo and myself ended up winning, but that's because I'm just epic. :)

Ash kept having all the bad luck - landing on random event spaces that made her lose like 40 coins a time. Rofl.

Shelly's comments were amusing:
"...ARE WE RUNNING ON A CAKE?"
"...IS THAT GIANT ICE-CREAM FALLING OUT THE SKY?"

She just doesn't grasp the randomness of Mario Party.
But I'll coach her. :D

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Oh, and here's a picture of Ashleigh and THE BELLY:

Through The Fire & FAIL

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Summer Accomplishments:
- Completed band career 100% - (GH: Greatest Hits)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Today's actually been better than I expected. :)
I couldn't get to Ashleigh's because of dad's dodgy shifts, so she came here instead.

Before she came though, mam was in my room on my computer writing AN ANGRY COMPLAINT LETTER.
She bought these red towels from Next - and they're a nice colour and quite soft, they just have a tendancy to cover everywhere in a layer of red fluff. You can't even dry yourself with them without getting covered in random moutled bits.

So she went onto the Next website and started writing out this e-mail to them.
I read it over so I could correct her spelling and grammar errors.
(She just doesn't know how to get a CAPITAL I....)

It was so bloody funny though - she even slagged off Primark by saying summat along the lines of: "OH MURR, IF I'D GOT THEM FROM PRIMARK I'D EXPECT SHODDY QUALITY."

Then she twisted the truth. I AM asthmatic - but when she said: "AND MY ASTHMATIC DAUGHTER CANNOT EVEN USE THE TOWELS" - that's bending it a bit too far. :)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ashleigh brought her slider-panel Metallica guitar with her today.
Nice one - we were both using guitars we were comfortable with.

I didn't feel at my strongest, so I played on Hard instead of Expert.
I still did lead though - Ash went on bass.

We managed to complete the entire career - from the end of level 2 (as Shelly and I had done the first few songs on Wednesday) right up to the TTFAF finale on level 8.

And we didn't get a single three star!
It's five stars all the way with the odd four star on the dodgy songs.

Christ, Beast & The Harlot - I almost got 100% on it.
And I only didn't because of a few silly errors.
AND IT'S ON LEVEL SEVEN.

I KNOW I can FC that - I'm gonna give it a go soon. :)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's weird - when I'm playing GH WITH someone - I can talk to them.
When someone's watching me - I can't. It puts me off something chronic.

So as we spent these few glorious hours sitting together on my bed, drinking Pepsi, eating Pom-Bears and playing GH: Greatest Hits - we held many-a random conversation. :)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ash is so cute. :)

When I was downstairs, making our food - she shouts: "Dixie....!"
I go: "...What Ash?"
She goes: "...Come heeeeeeere...!"
I go up, get to the bathroom and say: "What is it, Ash?"
She mumbles: "I need one of your paaaads..."

I actually didn't laugh at her - I could see she was embarrassed - so I went and got her one. Graciously. :)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I made us both hot-dogs for our tea.
We sat outside in the back garden on the pub bench.
It was sunny, but we get a lot of shade in our garden because of Wendy's beasty tree in the garden next door.

It was quite soothing - especially since we were sat by the lavender bushes.
Lavender makes me super-relaxed and calm. :)

I had three hot-dogs - two with cheese, one without.
Ash had three hot-dogs, one with cheese, two without, all with ketchup.

Then I offered her one of the RANDOM CHOCOLATE BALLS.

Mam came in the other day and said: "Oh, there's some chocolate cake things in the fridge."
They're like little cups of chocolate sponge cake with chocolate icing, chocolate sauce in the middle and chocolate chips on the top. They're fucking nectar - and Ash agreed. :)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When we'd eaten, we went back to Guitar Hero.
We went on to Quickplay - as I'd got the urge to go on vocals.

I wanted to prove to Ash how hard it was for me to get 5 stars on Them Bones playing Expert vocals.
Simply because my voice is too high and there's a few lines that I can't sing.

I only went and fucking got FIVE.
Seriously, you try and prove you CAN'T do something, and you CAN...

I also sang Cult Of Personality (on request by Ash, because she likes it) and Play With Me.
Shelly told me to see if Ash could pass it on Hard lead guitar. She did - she didn't fail that epically. She got about 89%.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The most amusing moment of today was definatley TTFAF. :)

Ash was complaing about how easy it was on bass when we played it during the career.
So I suggested she play it on guitar while I sing it.

I was singing the chorus with varying voices and octaves - I went from Princess Peach to a random cave ogre, to a bloke with a snotty nose to a lopsided dwarf - then I'd SQUEAL.
Ash was in absolute fits. :)

Not only that - but Ash seemed to be scraping her way through it - so when I had no lyrics to sing, I was making up my own to the tune of the song, regarding Ash's current performances.

And it was SO exact! It was super-spontaneous, but it fitted to the lyrics so well.
Just imagine this to the tune of TTFAF:

I fail at hammer-ons,
I fail at slider notes,
I fail at open strums,
I fail at GENERAL strums,
I fail at orange,
I fail at blu-uuu-ue!
I fail at green-red-YELLOOOOOOOOW!!!

I fail at whammy bar,
I fail at star power,
I fail all the tiiiiiiii-iiime!!

No wonder Ash was failing - she was doubled up laughing half the time. :)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I got Ash laughing again after this - we went on YouTube and watched some videos in my favourites.

Just like Lewis did, she was pissing herself at Brookers' Harry Potter parody video.
Along with the "Hello DAVE!" video, random CassetteBoy videos and YouTube poops.

I even showed her Give Me Back My Spleen - the video that Ashley Robson and the knobhead boys made in year 11.
I have nothing against Ashley, Garrie, Lamby or Foxon - but the rest of them were absolute dickheads.

Ash was just amused at how bad it was. :)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And before Ash left - we spent a while discussing DATWBSVOH. :)
She gave me some more ideas, and inspired me of a way to unstick myself.

I'm currently stuck at a section where the two main rivals are arguing and insulting each other - and I wasn't sure on how to end it.
I've decided that Andrew Eagle is going to twist Ashleigh Sparrow's wrist back over on itself, making her cry, almost.

I tested this move on the real Ashleigh - so I could document her reaction to it.
Her voice went proper high. :D

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I've spent a lot of time tonight on MSN, talking to Kyle and Adam.

I really need to talk to Kyle more often.
He's matured a lot - he's not once said something stupid in the past few days.
I've got him interested in the Backloggery, and he's made an account on it.

We spend a lot of time discussing games, mainly.

We were both shocked and amused when Kyle asked me who the most annoying character in video game history was.
We both typed our answer simultaneously - Ashley Graham from Resident Evil 4. :)

With Adam - he's just being Adam.
Getting drunk on Peach schnapps while we both sent each other YouTube links to Countdown bloopers. :D

Spiders, Smacks & Shitty Single Beds

I started my morning with a healthy slice of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. :)
I got a few more All-Star challenges finished off.

When Ashleigh came, she coaxed me into using two of my four sacred golden hammers.
I opted for the "Boss Battles on Intense" challenge - LMFAO. CAN ANYBODY DO THAT?!
And the "Play 100 hours of Brawls" challenge - I'd leave my Wii on overnight, but I don't want to break it. I can do 30 hours easily. Maybe 50. But I couldn't be arsed with 100.

For smashing open the "100 hours" challenge, I got the ASHLEY ROBBINS trophy. She has nice shoes.
Ashleigh rants about her every time we discuss Another Code. Apparently they have the same birthday, and the same name, obviously. :)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ashleigh brought Guitar Hero: Metallica with her today - and her new slider-panel guitar with the sexy faceplate.
Ash looks so funny with those guitars. They're bigger than she is. :)

When Shelly came, the three of us started a new band career.
I linked the account too - I wasn't going to waste this chance to earn scores and groupies for the Community. :)

Ashleigh played lead, Shelly played bass and I played drums.
I played drums for quite a while before my mam started whinging too.
I've gotten a lot better at them too - I'm consistently hitting 97-99% on Medium.
The kick pedal doesn't hurt my leg either.
It goes a bit numb after about 10 songs, but all it takes to return it to its former vigour is to shake my ankle around a bit. :)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Shelly and Ashleigh both challenged to me to try out One on Expert.
Ash told me that she can't do it on Hard on GH3, because she fails at the mental solo. Likewise, I can't complete it on Expert for the same reason.

Thanks to the CHEATY slider notes - I managed to complete it.
Four stars, but that's not so bad.

Some parts are easier than they are on GH3.
And of course, some are slightly harder.
It's the same story for Hier Kommt Alex - which they released as World Tour DLC.

It'll probably be the same story for GH: Greatest Hits too.
(I'm so fucking excited about that coming out... EEEEEEEEEEEEE...)

Then of course, I wanted to see King Diamond's in-game form. :)
I loaded up the Mercyful Fate song, but I couldn't play it.
Not because it was difficult - but because I was too busy having an orgasm over King Diamond. :)
I let out a lot of high-pitched fangirly squeals. They seemed to be hurting Ash's ears. :D

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When we grew tired of Guitar Hero, we laid on my bed together - Shelly on the left, Ashleigh in the middle and me on the right - actually only about 1/4 of the way on the bed, as I was laid on the stack of boxes and teddies down the side of my bed.
Single beds are shit for three-person hugs. The double at my nana's was mint for that. :)

My mam rang me, asking me if a memory stick she'd found in ASDA was suitable for me.
It was 2GB - quadruple what my old one was. Damn right it was suitable. :)

As I was talking to her - I do believe Mr. Spider from Thursday made another appearance - something was crawling on my back.
I exclaimed this: "SOMETHING'S CRAWLING ON ME!" - and sort of... let go of my phone in the process...

...Which then proceeded to smack Ashleigh in the face. :)
She then cries out: "ARRRGH, MY FACE!!!"

I pick my phone back up - pissing myself laughing.
Seriously, I have no idea what that must've sounded like on the other end of the phone, but we were in fits. :)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Although, my suspcisions about Mr. Spider were true.
He'd gone inside my underwear now and I was fucking hysterical.

Shelly got him out from off my arse and threw him outside the door.
Ashleigh gave me a hug, trying to calm me down. I cried on her shoulder for a few minutes.
Of course, crying on either Ash or Shelly is very comforting - but I was too embarrassed to look at her. So I just kept my head in her shoulder.

Shelly cuddled me too - asking me if I was embarrassed.
Silly question - so I nestled into her chest. :)

Gah, Ashleigh isn't scared of ANYTHING...
Oh, if only she had a fear that I could exploit... :(

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Today, mam decided to let me have my Wii games that she bought with her MBNA reward points.
She hadn't let me have them since they arrived - as she was still being petty and ridiculous about the 'not-wanting-to-go-to-the-shop-for-her' thing.

So, I now have Cooking Mama (Wii) and Wario Land: The Shake Dimension.
I had fun taking off their cellophane. I love peeling it off new games. :)

The three of us had a go at Cooking Mama.
It's a lot of fun. Mama's voice makes us all piss.
At times, she sounds French, at times she sounds Italian, at times she sounds Japanese - and occassionally she'll slip into random German. She pulls some really random faces too.

The Wii remote controls are pretty innovative.
There's times where you'll use it as a handle of a whisk/frying pan/wooden spoon - then there's times where you'll shake it like a salt and pepper pot. :D
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We shared out two pizzas between us - cheese feast and meat feast.
I made sure I gave Ash all the slices of the meat feast that were free from the pepperoni that she hates so much. :)

Ash went home shortly after we'd finished it off - 6:15, to be exact.
Tonight was the Britain's Got Talent final.
(I actually didn't watch it, as I was too distracted by Shelly - but I caught up with it on the website.)

Distracted by Shelly?
Mmmmyes. :)

She was crying on me for a while - getting upset over the shite my mam had said the other night.
I'd told them both - then the three of us slatered the fuck out of her statements. We're good at that. :)

I made her feel better. :)
Today I decided to be rough and animalistic. It's a lot of fun.
I bit her neck quite a lot, and used my tongue when we kissed.
I was just being a general rabid monster, with very small groping hands. :D

My mam walked in on us at one point - but she couldn't say anything, as we were both fully clothed (and flys zipped) and we were just laid beside each other on my bed, cuddling.
She went on the PC, so Shelly and I played on Cooking Mama again.

That's what I love about Shelly - I can have fun with her, no matter what we're doing. :)
I love seeing different sides to her too. She went from being a passionate lover to being an overly childish gamer. :D
