Everything has been going haywire for about a week now. I have been hearing reports from online friends of all kinds of computer memory failures, networks crashing, email servers blowing up...the works. My own blogs have been down at least twice during the retrograde due to server failures. A few of my friends had their individual blogs explode overnight, with no explanation as to why. I have one...

I had another reading with my astrologer Laurence Hillman yesturday, and a common theme in my life came up--again.

One of my closest friends, Brandon Wildoner, has been telling during deep emotional conversations that I really need to release, and let go of the things that I'm still holding onto. I have heard him, but still haven't found this process to be the easiest.

After hours of phone conversations, and me breaking down several times (over the course of a few months) Brandon gave me a copy of a book that has now been my lifeline at times--"When Things Fall Apart" by Pema Chodron.

This book has been at my fingertips nearly everyday since it came into my hands. After a few months of reading, and rereading I finally bought my own copy. The main message in the book is the act of letting things be, and accepting places of fear, and uncertainity--which are things I am having extreme troubles doing at this moment in my life.

 

Now that Laurence, Brandon, and Pema Chodron have all fallen in my life with the same message--Release, and let go-- I think that the universe is trying to tell me something.

 

Release, let go, breathe, and it all will work out-- The universe is looking out for you :)

You may find it difficult to keep things neat and organized today, Ambreen. It may seem as if you are tying to organize a desk full of feathers while huge gusts of wind are blowing through your room. Buy some paperweights. In the meantime, however, you might just want to give up on keeping the feathers organized today and deal with it at some other time. It could be that you are too lazy today to fight the wind.

 

Stupid Astrology!  What feathers?  I don't work for no chicken farm!  There aren't any feathers on me desk I say! :S   And aren't they suppose to be making sweet prophecies as " You'll meet the man of your dreams today....unexpected enounters...new friends / opportunity on the horizon blah blah blah...? Damn plebeians, can't even get bogus horoscopes right! *glares*
