Arsenal @ MindSay

PSV drew, my lucid dreams flew, the problems I can't sue, is it not true?
In terms of soccer, quite a frustrating week. Arsenal fell to their fourth consecutive draw, and guess what? Manchester United is sitting at the top of the table! What's worse is Arsenal is going to play Liverpool three times in a row for the two leg rounds of the Champions League and a Premiere League match. If Arsenal beats Manchester United, their going to most likely play Chelsea, and if Arsenal beat Chelsea, we might have a chance of playing Manchester United if they beat Barcelona :S Looks like the UEFA Champions League is going to be a one way ticket to the final by stepping on the dead bodies of fellow English clubs.

PSV drew, I still can't believe it. Farfan the man scored in the second half, and just when we thought PSV would withstand the pressure to win again, Roda JC scored an equaliser on the 92nd minute. So disappointing, because although Roda JC pulled everyone up for the corner kick (yes, that includes the goalkeeper as well), it was the defence's fault of not being able to clear the ball quick enough out of the box that costed PSV two points. PSV now only have a 4 point lead, and we're playing Ajax on the 20th O_o

Recently I've re-ignited my interested in lucid dreaming, and for a few occasions, I did realise I was dreaming in my dream. Failed in all the occasions to control my dreams as I did before (well actually I only managed to do that once, but it was a short lived lucid dream as the dream world crumbled under light of reality). It be cool if I can start to control my dreams soon, cause then I'd be able to extend my "working hours" while I sleep, since in my dreams, I, am the owner of my 4 dimensional world, being able to alter every single part of the dream, and have the ability to control time.

Went to the orphanage yesterday, was a fun trip as usual. Its great to know that the kids know know me, cause I get random whacks and smiles from the kids at the place. Yue Yue is still as jolly and chubby. We crashed the Korean restaurant after the trip, and I got my Vitamin B drinks :D It was also fun in another way, cause MC was with us as well. One interesting thing I saw during our trip was MC without her glasses. Last time me and MC were at the orphanage together, her glasses were off for a brief moment of time when a kid took it off, but she quickly re-gained possession, so I didn't get to see a clearer view. This time, it was kids instead of a kid, so she was kind of fighting for the glasses while having fun, and its probably the first time I saw her properly without glasses.

Its always weird to see people who wear glasses all the time to take their glasses off, cause in your memory you only treasure the image of them wearing the glasses. I guess I was a little bit shocked when I saw her without glasses, but nevertheless, she looked beautiful to me even without the glasses.

I think I'm out of gas and motivation to continue writing this entry :/ One thing I have to add, is that the last time when I was enlightened by Ms N during Regen, she mentioned that God wanted me to look up things related to "me" in the Bible so I could fully understand what God wants to tell me. Ms N showed me the passages where the name "Stephen" appears, and apparently, in the Acts, Stephen was a holy man who was filled with the Holy Spirit, but he ended up getting stoned by criticising those who condemned him for blaspheming with stories of the Bible, even though he didn't commit the act of blaspheming. It kind of gives me the creeps, cause is God telling me that I would have to sacrifice myself for something "big"?

I don't really fear death, but I'm not quite sure if I'm able to digest what I learned and actually become ready for what's coming up for me. Maybe that's why we are humans, cause we aren't actually afraid of the process of death and what comes up after we die, but it is the ties and bonds with the modern world that cause us to fear death, as we lose "everything" and cause people around us to suffer and cry.

Orpahange + Korean Restaurant? Sweet :D
Went to the orphanage again to receive my "spiritual enlightenment". It was fun, considering that I love the kids there. It was also weird as well, since out of the 6 people who went, I was the only guy going, but I was fine with that, since one of the people in the orphanage said to the kids "Go play with the older sisters!"

... Guess I'll pretend I'm female for a sec, since Sop-Ah said I had beautiful long and thin fingers. Weird compliment for a guy, but I'll accept it nevertheless :P There were only 8 kids in the orphanage when we went, because most of the kids went on a field trip, and many of the kids kept on crying cause Almighty Sushi and the rest of the gang kept freaking out the kids. I managed to get one of the kids to like me though, and it was nice to see the kids on field trip coming back, cause I got to lift Yue Yue up and down again, lol.

Lots happened this past week, and one of them was a break down in relationship between me and Linc_31. Looking back, whatever happened in History class on Tuesday seems so fuzzy, but I was seriously ticked off that day and remained silent unless I had to talk, which in the process freaked two teachers and a few friends out. Not a bad tally, but that wasn't the point, cause the point was, this was the first time that I ever became this angry. Took me the remainder of the week to recover, and during that time period I did not speak to Lincoln at all, ignoring his questions, comments, or conversations starters. Think it was my talk with MC on email that helped me finally see through this incident, as the negative emotions eventually evolved into me feeling constantly depressed and frustrated for no reason, and becoming not myself. I'll see how things work out naturally.

We lost 1-0 yesterday in Soccer, and although it was a huge improvement considering we lost 6-1 last Saturday to TEDA International School(Tianjin Economic Development Area) and 7-1 to Harrow on Wednesday (wasn't goalkeeper that game, it was Rob's turn), I still felt disappointed, as to some extent I let my defence down since they were doing such a marvelous job. It was a great game nevertheless, as I was constantly encouraging my team mates and organising my defence through shouting and talking throughout the game, and making some fine saves during the process.

I'm certainly having fun messing around with a new program I downloaded off Windows, which is called "Windows Live Mail", where I can manage all my e-mail accounts into one program. I still have to figure out how to send e-mails through the program, as both occasions it kept send me the error message, but now I can receive a message from msn and Windows Live Mail when I get mail from any of my e-mail accounts, so its pretty sweet.

Its a little bit late, and I guess I'll have to go to sleep soon, but I have to add one more thing, and that is, Arsenal beat AC Milan 2-0 at San Siro and PSV beat Tottenham Hotspurs 1-0 at White Heart Lane. Not a bad soccer week considering that both of the football clubs that I support won at the European football stage :P

Absolute Bloody Disgrace!

Well unforetunately Arsenal's adventure all the way to the UEFA champions league final culminated in a 2-1 defeat.

But it wasn't just a normal 2-1 defeat!

I think those around the world who saw the game this evening would agree with me that the performance of the referee Terje Hauge was shocking for many different reasons which I can't be bothered to write about right now.

The only thing he actually got right was the sending off of our goalkeeper Jens Lehmann.

Anyways, Im too pissed off to write about the game, i am off to bed!

A promising development...

More Americans feel US should mind its own business: poll

Fri Apr 14, 9:50 AM ET

WASHINGTON (AFP) - Nearly half of Americans believe their government should mind its own business internationally and only one third approves of how US President George W. Bush is handling Iraq, a USA Today/CNN/Gallup poll said.

Bush's rating, which rose from 32 percent in September to 39 percent in the ensuing months, has fallen back to 32 percent in the latest survey, the USA Today/CNN/Gallup poll said.

Amid growing opposition to the US-led war in Iraq, the number of Americans who think the United States "should mind its own business internationally and let other countries get along as best they can on their own," has risen from 33 percent to 46 percent over the past three years, the poll said.

The pollsters said their April 7-9 survey reflected similar results during the Vietnam War, when only 20 percent of Americans said their country should mind its own business in 1964, one year before the war began, compared to 40 percent who thought so in 1972, when the Vietnam War was in full swing.

And just as US president Lyndon Johnson failed to convince his countrymen between 1966 and 1968 that the Vietnam War was being won, Bush has been unable to turn the tide of opposition to the Iraq war since he began a series of speeches in September.

Johnson's war-handling ratings dropped from 57 percent to 39 percent in two years.
