I was listening to Triple M on the way in to work this morning, and they were discussing the upcomming Commonwealth Games to be held here in Australia this month.

 

The Queen of England will be in attendance, and in accordance to a tradition set 22 years ago by (I think) Bob Hawke, whenever the Queen is at an Australian event it is customary (and repectful) to play the English national anthem, Good Save The Queen.

 

'Little Johny' Howard has been seeking to continue this with the games but he has been blocked by the organisers, saying "It [God Save The Queen] has nothing to do with us", no, it is no longer our national anthem, but we still have the Union Jack on our flag for a reason. In addition it is the COMMONWEALTH GAMES, there is no event that could be any more to do with the Queen or England, that is were the games orriginated, and only our connection to England allows us to compete in them.

 

All in all WHAT IS THEIR PROBLEM?

 

Stoopid games organisers.

This is what pyro said last night. Nyahaha. i win. I've been telling her for YEARS that she has NO life. This just proves it.

anyways, probably my last post for like a week to a week and a half. This is my "sayanora" message i think. it won't be long. stereotypically, i hate goodbyes. even short goodbyes. They bug the shit out of me. always have. especiallyn saying goodbye to my sister. never really had the chance to while she was alive. i guess that's the reason i hate goodbyes.
they're always sooooo depressing. i can't stand them. oh well. i'll put it off till the end.

so basically this week has all been prep for NY. Today i helphed clean the ford(my family is switching cars for the trip with pyro since the ford is bigger and has a DVD player. and a friggin good bass/sub. it can hold 6 cds.)and earlier in the week i helped pyro wash her car. not the best job, but good enough.

so this is it(unless i post tomorrow). well see you all in july. maybe by then i'll have a canadian accent so i can bug my brother. nyahaha.that'll be fun,ey? a tribute to canada.
