Animal Crossing: City Folk
Today while I was playing the Wii I checked the Wii News Channel and I looked in the technology section. I scrolled down a little and I found a headline saying something about a new Wii controller. I click on the headline and began to read the article slowly, because I love reading about new releases for gaming systems. As I continues to read, 4 words caught my eye. The 4 words were "Animal Crossing: City Folk". I am an Animal Crossing fan, so you can tell that I was overjoyed when I read this. I never finished reading the article because I quickly rushed down to our basement where our computer is at and clicked rapidly on the Mozilla Firefox icon. I then clicked on the Google search bar and typed in "Animal Crossing: City Folk release date". I clicked on the first first result, which lead to here. I watched the preview video and began to cry a little. I used to play Animal Crossing: Wild World and Wi-Fi with many people that I didn`t know. I became good friends with most of the people I Wi-Fied with, but after a couple months I never spoke to any of them again. The memories of AC:WW made me cry. The music playing in the preview video also makes me cry, but I think I cried because of the memories. xD (OK, so I`m pathetic. Your point? xD)

I`m hoping to get Animal Crossing: City Folk (or "AC:CF") on it`s release date, November 16, 2008. I can imagine how popular it`s going to be, so it might be a good idea to pre-order it :)

You can find more info about Animal Crossing: City Folk here.

In Debt to a Raccoon Slumlord
I did something I never thought I'd do.  I purchased the game Animal Crossing for the Nintendo DS and went into 20 grand of debt to a raccoon.  I totally didn't think I would like this game.  Aridzone was the first to purchase it and others I knew picked it up but I maintained the idea that it was childish, odd and a little on the feminine side.  Then someone at work let me try it out and now I'm hooked.  It's a freaking fun game!! Much different pace from the other high adrenaline games like Metroid Prime Hunters I own.  It is a very relaxing game that is one part old school quest driven rpg, one part life sim and all parts fun.  It works on a time/calendar schedule so it changes seasons and day/night based on real time, which makes it a very interesting game.  You can actually go to the town hall and the clock atop of the bulding displays the appropriate time. It's currently fall for my little village and I was lucky enough to get in on the Acorn Festival last night.  You can also visit towns that your friends have built and take plants back to your village that you don't have and start growing them in your game.  It's really a creative game and hard to put down.

-Peace Out

A purple and pink ostrich...

So, yesterday....Tipper the cow moved out of my neighborhood and Queenie the Ostrich moved it.  She is really cool looking.  Very unique.  I wasn't disappointed to see Tipper go.  She was one of the more annoying neighbors.  So, this is the most exciting thing that has happened today.
