"Angel"

Well I have asked around. It is.. coming up to.. that the vampire in the center of the murals in Vorador's Mansion (near the fountains)
the female vampire holding the SPIRIT SEEKER SPEAR, has PINK HAIR(or red). This can be utterly random but considering how all
the other ancient vampires are depicted...I am unsure what to think.  The other vampires normally have black/white/grey hair. I could be
wrong.. I did see brown haired brides in BO... I think so anyway.

And in another strange...appearance she has normal hands and feet. Maybe this was all and idealized painting, considering that it is in Vorador's mansion.

So.. I was thinking. How could Aomi get pink hair. I thought about it, if I were invert Aomi, Aomi's bangs would be red, the rest of the hair white.
Red+White= Pinkish
Soooo if I was to make ANOTHER... Aomi-type vampire.   She'd have white skin that would glow a very pale cyan, she'd keep her cyan eyes
and she'll have pink hair.  And to keep to Aomi's hand to hand-combat nature-using sorcery and such, this verson of Vampire Aomi would wear
gauntlets  and palm guards called Rizaiel (which means: METAL PLATED SOME HOW) . Strikes/hits from these guards/gauntlets would be
equal to getting hit by a gigantic war-hammer.

The Ancient Vampires in the Blood Omen/Legacy of Kain/Soul Reaver series look like angels. The scary avenging kind. Apparently they were the
ones who started the total war with the Hylden.  They might have been religious fanatics, these vampires.

At ANY RATE. In Enochian, Aomi is a minor angel. So I am justifying... Aomi's throw in, Aomi is a demon but...comes from an angelic... sector.
I mean sure, demons where once angels? Or something. Haha I find it odd that I want to  smash this demon of mine into everything I get interested in.


In Enochian, Iaom is a minor angel powerful in finding out the secrets of men. He is ruled by the angel Hiaom and Spmnir Llpiz and is a companion of Aomi, Omia and Miao.

In some sense Aomi Armster will be a very very busy shapeshifter.

Aomi is a demon hell bent on learning things, so she has to take on different forms, abilities of those forms & the whole who what when where why how of them so she can travel many realms, worlds, and time.
The vast majority of these forms/stories  won't have anything to do with the "Main" story.

List of Aomi Armster's forms: some forms have various forms like a werewolf would have a wolf form etc, a vampire a bat, mermaid= fish other sea life, i won't list all of those but in general thats what I mean.

Aomi can also disembody and create a non sentient object like.. money,swords/weaponry-- of course these items are enchanted, they are made from demon essence! ;0

I am growing accustomed to my pain. Though I grow steadily more and more tired with each passing day I remain here, the dull ache in my chest which occupies the space my heart did before I gave it to her merely overshadows my days; it does not rule them. Most of the time.

The dominion of my life is my own. I cannot fight my demons of heartache, lust, and loneliness, nor can I run from them. The only enchantment that breaks their spell is wrapped up in the arms of a stranger, which is more daggers in my back every day. There is no cure, only drugs to mediate the symptoms. She is no where near me right now, and that's not about to change. She's not coming back.

My skin is thick and rough, and it needs to be because the softness of her embrace, which I need so desperately, is not on the horizon. Callouses are building around where she used to touch me, used to kiss me, so at least it doesn't sting as much. I'm learning to breathe without the wind of her breath in my lungs, even if I crave it. It's slow poison anyway; a vice, an addiction that kills me slowly. Though I long for it desperately, let that asshole have it.

I'm dizzy right now. But I can stand on my own two feet. I don't need to cry on her shoulder, though I do wish I could know that she was okay. In my sleeping hours I would wait upon her like a guardian angel, oblivious to what it would kill me to witness, but powerful to protect her. Though in metaphor only, I will wrap my arms around her when she longs to cry in silence. And though she will not hear me, I will whisper that familiar phrase, dry her tears, and awaken without any knowledge of it.

My love for her is powerful. Maybe it is powerful enough to transcend this trial, and the years I will spend without performing this ritual in person. But if not, I will go on without her through the swells and waves of my life. I will remain to her only a whisper of the wonderful times we had and the awful pain that she caused me. And on nights when she feels most alone, I will be there with her, holding her. Forever a silent, unknowing guardian angel, as long as we both shall love.

I am practically quivering with excitement!

 

Do you know how long it has been since I stumbled upon something fun that I didn't know that lead me to learn something else and something else and then eventually blog about it?

 

It seems to come in waves. Occassionally, it feels like every day things crop up, but then I can go through quite a dry spell...this has been one of those times. I know I have taught a few new things, but those were things I set out to learn-big difference.

 

Are you ready? It's time for another installment of Things You Never Knew You Never Knew.

 

Okay. So lately, I have been getting into the tv show Angel. It's off the air, so I have been watching it online. It's awesome. I am super addicted. When watching online, you have to select which episode you want, so I always see the title of whatever one I am watching. I've noticed that the titles (as with most shows) generally represent what is happening in the episode, except they're never self-explanatory. Usually you have to watch the episode to understand the meaning behind the title-they're clever that way. So fine. It has become a little game of mine to figure out the meaning behind each of the titles. A couple of them we're kind of hard, but then I got to the episode entitled "Five By Five."

 

I watched the episode...nothing. I looked it up on IMDb....nothing. I used Wikipedia.....nothing. Couldn't for the life of me understand what this meant. How frustrating, right? Well, after some more digging, I learned that it was actually a reference to something one of the guest stars said on the parent show. (Angel is a spinoff of Buffy the Vampire Slayer). Okay. Never having seen Buffy, I was never going to understand it. Which kind of annoyed me. And still, I couldn't help but wonder what it means. So I googled the phrase "five by five" and I found something interesting.

 

Five by Five is a phrase used in communications to describe the quality of the signal, with five by five denoting the best possible signal. Essentially, signals are measured in two ways by strength and clarity, each on a scale of one to five. So the best measurement is five by five, being a perfect signal in strength and clarity.

 

So if you worked in communications and were testing a signal and it was perfect you could say the signal is five by five. Because of this, it has apparently entered common usage (not common to me...) as a phrase meaning "I understand you perfectly."

 

A-ha!

 

The character was apparently known for using this phrase in sort of a smart-ass way on Buffy and when that character guest starred on Angel, they denoted the episode that way. Okay, all makes sense. Yes?

 

But, when reading up on five by five, it lead me to some other information on voice procedure, which is basically shorthand code used in communications. Roger, wilco, over, mayday, etc. And then that lead me to a page on what is commonly referred to as the phonetic alphabet, or the substitution of words for letters. Everyone uses this all the time. You're spelling your name to someone over the phone--"m as in mike, o as in oscar" etc. Right?

 

Well, there are actual correct words to use for each letter, which is something that I had to memorize my first year of college. And I still know them....(except for S-for some reason I have blocked that one out. Ah, well.)

 

Anyway, it was fun for me to run through all of this. Some of it I knew, most of it I didn't. I got a couple of explanations that clarified things for me (did you read that "over and out" is an incorrect phrase? Who screwed that up?) and it was fun.

 

See, who says you don't learn anything by watching tv?

 

I think tv is very educational--if you work for it. Five by five?

 

Oh and today marks 1 week of being a non-smoker! Yay me!
