Love made in London: The First Night
So we're together now.

I thought I already blogged about it, but I guess not.

And I mean the guy I met in London, whom I had sex with...

He doesn't live in London, though, he lives in Canada, too.

He was on a school trip, same as me.

The two groups just happened to be in the hotel at the same time, which is just amazing.

And it gets even more amazing. Besides that there was two school groups in London, we happened to be staying in the same hotel on some of the same nights, and we just happened to take the elevator at the same time that night!!

And I also, when coming back to the hotel the next night, I just thought to look out the window, and I saw his group coming in!

And so I went downstairs to "look at broschures" hehe. I stood there for I don't know how long, and then he noticed me and came over and asked for a picture.

And then he walks away!!

I was feeling so stupid. I was like, what was I thinking, why would he be interested in me, all he wanted was a stupid picture... and  kept looking at him, and he looked over at me.

And then he finally came over, and we started talking, and we sat down in the lobby and talked for an hour or so (didn't look at the time), until one of my teachers told me to go to my room.

Well, I gave him my room number before leaving... hehe!

And later, he came up and we invited him into the room, where my roomate (Sarah) and him and I talked.

And then... Sarah was tired and wanted him to leave... but I got away with just us going over by the door, hehe.

And then...

I poked him and he poked me. Stomach, and then he went up and I went down. And then we hugged, and we kissed. And then I was touching it, and I put it between my legs (still underwear on both) and rubbed it there...and then brought it out and stroked him off. He he.

And...it may have went all over my shirt. >.<

And that was just the first night. We hugged and kissed goodnight...and he asked me what time I would be getting up in the morning, so he could see me.

He got up early just to see me! His group didn't wake up til 10 or so, he said. But he got up around 6, just for me! <3

*title change because I felt it more appropriate, and a double entendre. XD

Glorious
Today Parker called out sick, and Claudia had to take A to the middle school for a meeting, bring him back, and then go BACK for a meeting at 12:30.  That meant I was alone with E and A all day long.  And it was AWESOME.

Skipping some other AMAZING things that happened, let's fast forward to Miss Vicky time, when E started out with, "I'm on Miss E's team.  So there will be a grown-up on each side, and also because it's stupid to put 2 kids on the same side who don't get along".  MEANWHILE, in the real world, they've been getting along GREAT the last month or so, but...shh.  Anyway, about 10 minutes into our half-hour game, he voluntarily switched so the 2 of them were on the same side.  And when A messed up, he encouraged him.  He gave him pointers of what to do.  When A did great, he congratulated him like an adult!  <33

But the one better, the one that brought tears to my eyes... 15 minutes later, at recess.  When I got out there, E was bouncing the basketball on the court.  He stopped and said, "Where's A?" and I told him I had just seen him walking up towards the structure.  And he actually put the ball down and went to go find him.

Holy shit.  I can't say it more eloquently than that.  I've been waiting for this since September.

I know it doesn't seem like much...but it is.  It really frickin' is.  I KNOW, it was kind of like, "The best I can do right now is the other kid in my program", not a be-all/end-all "I like this kid", but... instead of playing alone, he actively went to go find A and played with him.  I am the happiest teacher in all of America today.  Scratch that; the entire planet.

And as a final nail in my Happy Coffin (maybe not the best way to describe it?  Oops), Nichole called today, and barring any huge incidents the next 2 days, D is being released from his program and might be back with us as early as Monday.  :) <3

Art Show
When I was little, art was pretty much the worst period of the day.  I didn't have any natural talent (I lack a lot of spatial reasoning and depth perception, key ingredients to being the next Van Gogh), and the teacher was lackluster.  The most memorable things from art in elementary school are:  trying to draw a bowl of fruit in the middle of the room, and the time she got so mad at a student, she threw a stapler at him.  The rest of that year (3rd grade? 2nd?) we just didn't have art.

Art up here is different.  The art teacher at three of the elementary schools, Polly... is amazing.  She is so knowledgeable, and so talented, but she can break things down so everyone can do them.  Even my A, who struggles with so much, has created some beautiful work with her.  Today was the big art show, where the walls were DRIPPING with examples of art from all the students at these schools between 1st grade and 6th.  I am going to post different examples of things she's gotten them to do this year.  Elementary school kids, mind you.  All of it better than I could ever hope to dream of producing.  Absolutely incredible.

(Fuck this, I can't get it to upload pictures I just wasted half an hour creating a Flickr to post, so here are links to the pictures, do with them what you will)

Jayden, 2nd grade.  Symmetry.

Hayley, 4th grade.  Cow picture.

Heather, 5th grade.  Early ships watercolor painting.

Gwyneth, 2nd grade.  Robot shapes and joints.

Eli, 6th grade.  Gradating color.

Levin, 6th grade.  Sculpture.

Roxy, 6th grade.  Sculpture.

Nathan, 5th grade.  Print making.

Torsten, 4th grade.  Wax resisting.

Emma, 6th grade.  Sculpture.

Austin, 6th grade.  Scratch art.

Bennett, 2nd grade.  Robot.

Emily, 5th grade.  Repousse.

James, 3rd grade.  Negative space.

Boyle's Got Talent.

"American Idol" isn't the only launching pad for aspiring singers. Across the pond, "Britain's Got Talent" scored a huge boost in the Buzz after an unassuming contestant gave an amazing performance.

Susan Boyle (remember that name) became a Web phenomenon after singing "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Miserables. The performance brought the audience to its feet and left the judges (including Simon Cowell) either speechless or in tears.

Before going on stage, Ms. Boyle admitted some self-deprecating facts about herself (she's never been kissed and lives alone with her cat, Pebbles). For those reasons and more, audiences were expecting the female William Hung. They were wrong.

Lookups on the sudden star posted huge gains. A no-name just the other day, Ms. Boyle quickly surged into our top 5,000 overall searches. Blogs and gossip rags went wild. The Mirror jumped on the story, reporting that while Ms. Boyle thought she "looked like a garage" on TV, she received a standing ovation when she showed up at her local church.

Other sources write that as a child, Ms. Boyle was the target of bullies because of a disability. But, with her newfound fame, she is getting the last laugh. In fact, she's already meeting with officials from Mr. Cowell's Sony BMG label. This may have been the first you've heard of her, but it certainly won't be the last. You can watch her performance above...
