Brian "Head" Welch's Testimony.
(Is Testimony the right word?) I mentioned previously I wanted to post this. Maybe it'll open your eyes, and show you how God can heal the most desperate and troubled of people. Brian "Head" Welch is one of my favourite solo artists.

You can find more about him and his journey towards God here.

I would recommend watching this one first, and the other one, second. The first one focuses more on his life with the band Korn. The second one is more about his journey towards God.

So... Watch this one first. The other one second. :)

I need some new music; know of any?

I really need something new to listen to...you'd think that with over 1000+ songs on my iTunes I'd find something that I haven't listened to. But honestly, I've listened to every single song more than once...

I need something new, but I just don't seem to be coming across anything good.

Heard something lately that you liked? Tell me and maybe I'll like it. Hopefully it's not country or rap. :D I hate the two with fiery passion...lol.

Tschuess!

[altoiditive]
I've been tagged.  Again.  This time, by my dear friend, the gifted antipodes .

I could just say "Sorry.  I've gotta quit for now.  Mom's calling me in for dinner."

Or I could say "You can't tag me.  I'm on 'safe' or 'gool' or 'glue' or whatever the tag-free zone is called today."

Or I could just play dead.

But, no, I won't do that.  I'm just going to bend the rules to serve my purpose.

Like Skeletor.

That's right.  I'm an evil mastermind with a very funny voice and a sinister laugh.

How will I bend the rules to serve my purpose?

Instead of telling you six things you may not know about me, I shall tell you six things you may not know about...well...me and my podcast.

1) I host a weekly podcast on Saturdays called The RuckuS.
2) The RuckuS runs roughly 30 minutes and features an eclectic mix of podsafe music following a new theme each week.  (Last week was jazz, the week before was indie rock, and this week is alt rock.)
3) All of the artist/track information for each show can be found at theruckus.blogspot.com.
4) Not only can you download individual episodes by clicking the title entries on theruckus@blogspot page, but you may also subscribe for automatic downloads with or without iTunes.
5) This week's episode, [altoiditive], is special for two reasons.  First, the theme is influenced by the suggestion of drunknphilosphr , who generously applauded my [indieed] episode and requested I throw together another indie rock edition.  The result - today's alt rock episode.  (Thanks again for the feedback, DP!)  It also features a somewhat silly surprise for a few more of my Mindsay friends.
6) I hate grocery shopping on weekends because the crowds try my patience.

Please check out the show and let me know what you think about it.

Or as Skeletor-like, perhaps I should say "Listen, you fools, for my powers are beyond your understanding!"

...

Nah.  I wouldn't say that.

But because my powers are beyond your understanding, I'm not going to tag anyone else today.

Enjoy the show!  [tR]

[rocks for your socks]
You've given up trying to answer the question, "What is The RackeT?"

Now the weekend is here, and without that puzzle in your life, you're left with nothing else to do.

I feel your pain.

So I propose you take on a new question - "What is The RuckuS?"

I'll even get you started.

The RuckuS is a weekly podcast.  All podsafe music.  No chatter.  30 minutes or so.

And, no, I didn't give away all the answers.

The RuckuS sits in a new musical chair every week.

If there is a vacant chair.

Sometimes it might sit on the floor.

Radical, I know.

You don't believe me?

Listen for yourself.

Download this week's mix.  [click here]
Dig for more details/Download past podcasts.  [click here]
Preview/Download individual tracks.  [click here]
Subscribe for automatic weekly downloads.  [click here]

Thanks for your help in trying to solve the mystery that is The RuckuS.

You'd make the Scooby gang proud.
