Aim @ MindSay

All this talk about chat rooms and interacting with people online got me thinking about going back to a chat room. I say go back because I hadn't been in a chat room for years, something like eight years. I say hadn't because in the last few days I went to a chat room run by AOL.

 

What I found there was nothing new really. The vast majority of people there are guys loking for ladies to chat with. There is an overwhelming lack of actual chatting and talking going on. Granted, I was in the "20s Friends and Flirts" room, this may be a contributing factor to the lack of meaningful chatting.

 

Perhaps I may experiment by going into different types of chat rooms. What do you think about that??

Anyways, I have to work till 2 tomorrow
morning, and I am dreading on going in.
Its not that my job is hard, or complaints
are so unbearable, but it is the fact that
it is just me and I am pretty bored there..
Nobody will ever get on aim and talk to
me... Okay, rant section over...

I watched this video today that involved
Hillary Clinton and the Human Rights Campaign,
and the video was taken forever ago, but the
way that a lot of Americans respond to the
gay population is terrible, and the video made
me cry, I think half of it was because of the fact
that a sad song was playing and people
were standing strong in the face of adversity...

I can already say that I see a blog coming
during the dead time of 12:00 to 2:00..

I have finally found a gemstone that I can call my own. It is the ancient stone of my birth , and my zodiac. I have chosen bloodstone. Feel free to look up its history and meaning. Tell me what you think ?

 

Also, I want a new screen name. Something that is "me". I am open to suggestions. Or maybe I'll restore an old screen name, if its possiable. The Screen name that will be replaced will be EDMP88.

 

Although if and when I do, is still up for debate in my mind.

Okay for those of you that don't know, GMAIL has a chat feature on it.  It integrates gtalk with the gmail, so you can chat with people while you do your email. Nifty eh? Well, a day or two ago they had a little box popping up that said you can use your AIM in gmail now.  I clicked on it and put in my AIM screen name (deejrandom) and poof...I have all my AIM contacts.

 

Now, be aware that I haven't used AIM a whole heck of a lot recently, but seeing as it is now active every time I use gmail (which is a lot) I will be using it more.  How does that impact people on mindsay? All the blogs have a AIM notification on the mindsay page, telling people if you are on or off line. I will be listed as online more now.  If you have AIM or Gmail, instant message me and I will get back to you. For your info: It isn't integrated in to the Gtalk application, just Gmail.

 

I also just finished putting my Mindsay feed onto facebook, so if you have a facebook account let me know. I'll add you over there ;) I Know facebook can be a little daunting when people first go to it, but I honestly like it much more then I do myspace.  It just seems to have more class; plus I don't get five hundred friend requests a day from thinly disguised sex cam sites asking me to "be their friend..and click here to see MORE pics of me!"  Gad.

 

Anyway just thought I'd let yuo all know, plus I'm seeing if this article is on my profile after I am done :D
