When I got married 18 years ago, little did I know my husband would continue to date. He got busted 18 years to the date and I have walked in the pain but now I have redefined my life and I am happier than ever imagined. I would love to share with you just how I got through the roller coaster of emotions..
and the neighbors deck is up and so far they have used it for making cell phone calls and their kid walks around swinging a broom repeating over and over " Arrrgh; I'm a pirate" Good thing these neighbors are never home and when they are they are tied to the TV. so far they have no furniture, just a plastic car for the kid.
I am worried that this deck is going to do Jan - my nice neighbor to the south- in completely. She is not the most flexible of people and can't problem solve yard issues. She also has a history of really LARGE impulsive acts. and now she is talking about taking out hundreds of dollars of two year old laurels and replacing them with bamboo. oh My. I wish she would just put a bamboo screen up around her patio area.
As for the noise... I read outside with sound deafening headphones on. Works like a charm.
Plus it rains a hell of a lot up here and they don't have any cover. well neither does Jan. and we have three covered deck/ porch areas on our house so even a snow storm wouldn't stop me grilling if I were determined.
I have added tons of things to my face book page and even got added to the friend's list of a young man who is the son of the much earlier mentioned man with whom I had an affair. Sorta ironic. I wondered if he is related to Kevin Bacon. Sigh.
While some men (and women) can be idiots, it seems that politicians are a very special kind of idiot. In saying that, I'm assuming that politicians more frequently engage in affairs than non-politicians; on the other hand, there's the scary possibility that their behavior actually reflects that of the general population, who may cheat just as often but are less likely to get caught. I've heard the "monogamy isn't natural"/men-are-biologically -wired-to-spread-their-seed justification, but I don't buy it. We are also equipped with brains and the ability to choose. Women are biologically equipped to reproduce at age 11 or 12, but does that mean that they should?
I have always thought that infidelity is one of the most despicable acts a person can commit, and something that I could never forgive. That said, I think that people, including myself, are capable of just about anything under the right (or more accurately, wrong) circumstances, so maybe I shouldn't be so quick to judge. Who knows? The whole thing makes my brain hurt.

Meanwhile, take a mini-marriage check Below with your mate and check the health of your relationship Were you often playful together? We just have fun the two of us. I feel comfortable telling most of my feelings to my partner /husband or wife. I feel understood when my partner listens to me. How we manage money as a couple is a strength in our relationship Sex is a strength in our relationship We understand and respect each others basic values. If you found yourself disagreeing with one or more of these statements ,then its time to investigate potential trouble spots. INCLUDING EMPLOYING PROFESSIONAL HELP TO AVOID A MAJOR BREAKDOWN The relationship you have with your partner needs work each and everyday, its not something that can come easy by any means. Each time your partnership comes into thoughts especially when the roles shift in the relationship this could be due to health or job or new baby or added stressors of caring for parents whose health is becoming fragile. Sometimes family has an influence on our Partners and it can become a battleground for arguing and name calling and having to take sides and make a choice. When you are feeling down inside and angry due to a habit or disagreement and it is becoming between the both of you, seek help before one of you turns to another person outside your marriage.
