Advertisments @ MindSay
I read this yesterday to my yugioh club members.
I gotta say ive seen my fill at times with Upperdeck when it comes to the Yugioh game but this time I feel they've gone TOO FAR! This is Rediculous! I want you to read these everyone! Share em! Post em! Get the message out there!!!
I love the game myself but this is NOT what the game is all about!!
(I want to make this perfectly understandable! What you are about to read nothing is altered! On the first one i just underlined a certain sentence.)
First one: This was handed out to parents at the Force of Breaker Sneak Preview:

Might?..Might just win a prize along the way? Wow i meen freeking wow.....thats a real encouraging message to send a parent and to there kid(s).
Most events like this one you have to pay 20.00 bucks to compete! 20.00 bucks!! And the might part is true because only a certain amount of people earn a prize at certain events.
Everyone else(like what happened to me at shonen lol )left out in the dust!!At least at a sneak peek you do get something no matter if you win or lose.(even though people cheat to win)
Now this one man..this just....
Ok..now if you thought that was somthing READ THIS!!! This just came out from the new Syrus Starter Deck.
Its a beginners guide. Keep in mind this is the first 2 pages of the guide!!! First two pages!!!

Ok now....am I reading how to play a game? Or am i reading what sounds to me like a franchising messsage to kids!? Get more cards by buying our booster packs! Ask for them for your B-day! OH!! Dont forget the Tins where you get those nice and pretty looking tin cards. (Tins that cost over 20.00 bucks!! )
PArents really dont understand sometimes the sophistication of the way this game is played. You have people my age that play this game and even older! (im 27 btw)
The game IS NOT ABOUT MAKING MONEY!!! Its stuff like this that no wonder draw parents and people away! This is not the way to do it!! Its wrong! Its unethical and its just deep down damn not right!
Anyways im putting my hand up and saying..ENOUGH! This needs to stop!
The game is about fun and challenge! Not greed! Thats what i do with my club. We help them with enjoying the game and not the greed! Please feel free to comment people. I want to know what you think about this!
I want you say what you FEEL about this!
Thank you for your time.
I wish I'd bought stock in an air freshener company, because there's some big money there these days. The choices are nearly infinite: The old-style weak ones come in glass and plastic, in every color, in shapes that range from utilitarian to cutesy to artsy, with liquid or solid scented stuff in fragrances that cover the spectrum from simple one-note scents to elaborate aromatherapy blends. The newer, powered ones, which can be battery or electrical, offer us fans, lights and visible puffs of... whatever that smoky stuff is... And, most surreal of all, a thing like a CD player that spews a whole series of scents from discs that look like CD's.
Then, there are the candles, the sprays (some of which are air sanitizers, whatever that is), Febreze, which you're supposed to spray on all your cloth surfaces, fabric softener that they make a big deal of the scent of in ads with no mention of the softening ability...
Want to know what's really odd? I can't remember the last time I saw an ad for perfume (or body spray, does that even exist any more?) I did see some ads for men's cologne, though... maybe men have gotten stinkier too?
[Perhaps Americans have become so lazy they just don't clean their houses as they should. They just need special smelling scientists to invent new ways to make the house smell better. I'm guilty for burning candles and I'm even more guilty for being a tad messy. I let little shreds of paper get on my bedroom floor well before I sweep it. But come on!! Pick up a mop!!]
Imagine what foreigners think when they come to this country and see American TV, and American ads, for the first time. Do they go back home and tell their friends that all we care about are cell phone plans and making our homes smell sickeningly sweet?
We are a disturbingly weird country.
I just love the idea of some guy saying, "No, doc, I love that I've been heart attack-free for 8 months, but I just can't handle the decrease in semen. I'm gonna roll the dice on this one, alright?"
For my Marketing class, we need to find an advertisement for a cruise line. I looked through magazines, went to the library and couldn't find one. Surfed the web and tried to get some pop-ups to well, pop-up and couldn't find one. So now I'm sitting here, a little bit stressed out. Anybody have any ideas?
UPDATE: I've been IMing with one of my sorority sisters and presented her with my problem. She told me that her mom has tons of magazines- she's going to go look, take a picture with her digital camera and send it to me if she can find one. But I don't know if she'll find one, so...
ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS?
