When I do chores around the house I like to crank up some tunes. Seems to make it all better. So today I thought I would see what my sattelite tv/serius radio had to offer. While scrolling down the list I noticed an all AC/DC channel. So hey, once a huge fan I thought I would kick it up a few decibals and listen while I worked.
I had it on for a few and they play a song off of the new album and I think it was called "War Machine". Hey, this song is pretty good. That gives me hope that it will be a good cd since I thought "Stiff Upper Lip" was a disappointment. Well, I thought it sucked. Brian Johnson sounded like he had just finished a carton of smokes before recording and his voice did not seem to be in match with the music. Meaning that he overpowered the sound. Now I will need to hear the song again to catch the match of his voice to the music but he did seem to be a little more "Back in Black" sounding than the last album.
But back to the song. I thought it was real good. To me it was a short song which left me wanting to hear more and much louder. And wanting to buy the album when it comes out or if it's out when I go to Walmart tomorrow.
For some reason, though, once I cranked up my surround sound to hear them, my kitteh cats ran into the next room. What is up with that?
I just logged onto their website and they are wanting $92.00 a ticket for the concert in Nashville. That is a lot of money. Now I paid about that for Van Halen so I have to think about this before Saturday when tickets go on sale. Hmmm.
