At work a few of my co-workers have taken to calling me "old man". This has been going on ever since my birthday a week or two ago. I'm only 22 but this does make me the second or third oldest male worker in our department. I think the only guy older then me is Chris who is maybe a year or two older then me.
It's kind of funny, really, the average age of my co workers (I'm guessing) is 18 or 19. It does make me feel kind of old.
I'm not the oldest person in our department. All the supervisors are older them me. The youngest being four years older then me. But as far as students and on-calls go (Sudents are those who go to M.S.U. on-calls are those who attend college somewhere else, I am an on-call) There are only two people older then me. I already mentioned Chris but there is also Emily who is, I think, 24.
There is a handful of people a year or so younger then me.
There is also everyone's favorite creepy serial killer, Jon. We don't know how old he is. Most of us are way to creeped out by him to push the issue. He has said he is 21, but he has also said he is 29. I believe the 29 'cuz he looks older then most of the other students. But he acts like he is five so I'm not sure if he even counts.
My point, I hate the fact that I am getting older. And my job is only making that fact more obvious.
