A Perfect Circle @ MindSay
--Irving Powless, Sr., ONONDAGA
If we sat in a circle and put an object in the center of the circle
and we all described what we saw, everyone would see different points
of views from each other. Some would even see opposites because they
would be sitting on opposite sides of the circle. In other words, you
don't have to see what I see for you to be right. In fact, everyone
in the circle is right based on their own point of view. If we are
willing to listen to everyone's point of view, then we can get a more
accurate description of the object in the center. This is one way to
put our minds together. When we get the clarity from each other, we
should give thanks and be grateful to each other.

Making Vine Pentacles
by Granny Green Witch
Her very essence sings pure beauty. Her newly opened blossoms hypnotize us with their aromas and her ground cover greets our feet as we gently walk upon it.
How often do we take time out to explore all the breathtaking beauty of Mother Nature? Have you ever explored the inside and outside of a seed pod? Have you ever touched and studied her vines? Have you painted her rocks or woven her leaves? If any of these things sounds interesting or fun to you, then join me on a journey of spirituality through nature crafts.
In this creation segment, we are going to create a vine pentacle to adorn your altar room or personal oasis. Remember as you create your vine pentacle, it does not by any means need to be perfect. It is rather a symbol of your joining with the Goddess, and imperfections often only add to the beauty.
A Few Things You Will Need
A Pair of hand clippers
A twenty-foot piece of vine
A ten-foot piece of vine
A one-foot of jute rope or twine
For this project your vine pentacle is going to be about eighteen inches wide, so the vine will need to be between one-half and three-quarters of an inch in diameter.
In the future, you will be able to make size adjustments to your vine pentacles by just adding and subtracting the vine and its width.
Step 1: Hold one end of your vine and circle it over to make an eighteen-inch circle. You will have plenty of vine left.
Step 2: Now take the other end of the vine and wrap it in and out of the circle you made three times. Cut off any excess vine and place your circle in front of you.
Step 3: Cut five pieces from your ten-foot piece of vine about three inches wider than your circle on both sides. Then run the cut pieces through the wraps on the vine circle to form a pentacle.
Step 4: Take your piece of jute, small rope, or twine and tie it on the top of your pentacle as a hanger.
Here are a few other ideas you can add to fancy up your pentacle wreath.
Add colored ribbons to the corresponding points.
Add strings of bells.
Hang a crystal or gem in the center.
Add fresh flowers, leaves, or seed pods.
Or just get downright creative!

broken and weary
unable to find my way
tail in hand
dizzy and clearly unable to
just let this go
I am surrendering to the gravity and the unknown
catch me heal me lift me back up to the sun
I choose to live
I fell again
like a baby unable to stand on my own
tail in hand
dizzy and clearly unable to just let this go
high and surrendering to the gravity and the unknown
catch me heal me lift me back up to the sun
I choose to live, I choose to live, I choose to live
catch me heal me lift me back up to the sun
help me survive the bottom
calm these hands before they
snare another pill and
drive another nail down another
bleeding(needy?) hole
please release me
I am surrendering to the gravity and the unknown
catch me
heal me
lift me back up to the sun
I choose to live, I choose to live
Ok, so I'm at work and I'm thinking about Christi and some of our past and how we've always seemed to be so much in love. And I turn and flip on the radio and something that has not happened in a very long time just happened. A Perfect Circle was playing on the radio. See one of the things that always happened when we first hooked up over a year ago is that A Perfect Circle and Tool would like haunt us on the radio. No lie. It seemed like every time we turned around it would come on the radio. Like when we weren't together and even when we were together. And since Christi's a huge fan and turned me into one also it was just like this funny thing for us. Kinda seemed like a soulmate type of thing because it was weird. It made us feel closer I think.
Wake up,
And face me,
Don't play dead,
Cos maybe,
Someday I will away and say,
You fucking disappoint me,
Maybe you're better off this way.
Another thing I can't be arsed with: The emo rant. I mean, the only thing I don't get about them is how they can say that guys kissing guys is "hot", and still claim that they're heterosexual. It's weird, if nothing else. Definately couldn't make a blog entry out of it though.
Go ahead and play dead,
I know that you can hear them,
Go ahead and play dead,
Why can't you turn and face me?
You fucking disappoint me!
Passive agressive bullshit.
Oh, another thing about emo's. Why are they always so fucking depressed? "Oh, my stick insect died, it was only three weeks old. Life is so unfair. I want to die, and join Thinny in Heaven..." Fuck's sake people, cheer up. Still, I'm not going to start ranting. Promise.
Moving onto more pressing issues, it's Cloey's birthday today. Glee to her. I'd sing, but she's already done that herself in her blog, and I'd hate to ruin her day by opening my trap and getting lyrical :P
It's weird, actually, thinking about it. At a guess, I'd say that I've known her for two years (cos we started talking shortly before her 17th, I think), and..well..she was shy, I remember that much. Two years later, and she's not as shy anymore :P That's not the weird part though. The weird part is that it doesn't feel like two years. That said, time has a way of passing you by and you don't even realise that it's gone so quickly.
Right, I've ran out of things to say. Here's some milestones that nobody but me'll care about :P
