3D Architect 01
So my first piece of work for the most recent 3D course I'm doing;
I was going for a Red Leather couch. Why I chose leather I will never know. It's still one of the hardest textures I know of to re-produce.

Whatcha think?

It's Life Jim!

I've now spent over a week in my new home. So far so good, I get along with the resident cat and better yet the resident housemates. I have an awesome view from the front deck and a nice spacious house. My bedrrom is nice and big and right now I'm very happy with how it's arranged. So far I've been fairly productive during my days although I'm yet to get a job, I've just started getting back into my 3d for this freelance graphic design job but once I draft my ideas I'm sure I'll kick into it.

I still need to find a sport for my Gold Award as well as commit to service. I'd like to do Wilderness First Aid however it appears that vey few places offer it right now. I'm also thinking about doing an American Outward Bound Course in September this year or earlier if I can afford it. It's another reasonably long adventure, twenty-two days and it's going to cost me over $5000 including travel from here to Minniesota. I guess if I travel a little early I can meet some people there and relax before I start another huge adventure.

If this was happening last year right now, before I'd done bound I'd be freaking about not having much money but I'm oddly calm. I know I can survive off what I have for at least another two weeks. I planned it that way before I went on Outward Bound, so I knew I had enough for a month. Problem is some unexpected things popped up like Car Rego and final payments for Outward Bound that they (via their own fault) hadn't processed yet. Oh well. Lifes full of unexpected events.

I finished putting all the lights on my car last night. It now has two driving lights and roughly eight extra lights across the roof. Would you like that stunned roo rare or well done? I want to take it out tonight and do some photography, seeing as I really don't have anything else major to do.

Also, for those of you here who are in the Canberra region around the 1st and 2nd of March, my house warming will be on that weekend either the friday or saturday. I'll keep ya posted.

Just to leave you with a nice thought.

This is what I see outside my front door.

My World. My Future. Staring straight for and keenly through.

That's it! All over red rover. I'm done, finished, a tribute to my abilities and skills gained over the past two years. My demoreel. My ticket to a job and a future, finally complete. Two years of building skills, learning programs and studying light and animation have come down to this. This is my all, for now. Although I still don't think it's quite good enough. I can do better.

So tell me, would you hire me? do you see anything wrong? where can I improve?

...and most of all... do you like it?
