Feast-broken Famine
Over the past 33 hours (the famine ended at six), I've learned a few very valuable lessons.  Most of which are not PG-13.  But then, a few were, like a) don't try to sell girl guide cookies on four hourse of sleep, b) don't participate in the famine if you're ill to begin with, and c) little sisters can actually be good company.  Naw, I'm just kidding about the last one--I knew it before we went.  Just don't tell her I said so!

Donate to My Famine Drive

I've finally got the URL, so you can now send me donations to my famine drive. All you need to do is go to this page.

The 30 Hour Famine is a fundraising drive to raise money to feed the hungry. We do this by not eating for thirty hours, and by having others sponsor us for participating in the famine. This year money raised from the famine will go to support Southeast Asia rehabilitation projects.

I wonder how much money I can raise online through my blog. If you send me a donation, I will link to your site at the top of this post.

30 Hour Famine
This idea came from Darren Barefoot. I was reading his blog and noticed he has started a fundraising campaign for the 30 hour famine. I'm impressed that World Vision has made it possible for people to take online donations for their 30 hour run. So, what I will do once I get a registration number is see if I can actually raise any money through my blog for the famine. Hopefully, I'll get a number this week and a link on my blog this week.

To learn more about how you can raise money online, see this the Famine site.
