Chiar daca exista site-uri similare lui 12seconds, acesta din urma se diferentiaza de ele prin putinta de a primi sms-uri ori de cate ori utilizatorii isi modifica status-ul.
Sumele platite televiziunilor de primii cinci advertiseri au scazut, in 2009, cu 18,3%, pentru primele 15 zile din februarie, comparativ cu aceeasi perioada a anului trecut.Pentru intervalul 1-15 februarie 2008, incasarile principalelor posturi de televiziune de la primii cinci investitori in publicitate sunt estimate la 1,8 milioane de euro net, in timp ce, in 2009, au coborat la 1,47 milioane, pentru acelasi interval.
