This summer, my grandmother (whom I call Missiemom), informed Michael and I that we should be bartenders once we are of age (I will be 21 in January, Michael won't turn 21 until next July). She arrived at this conclusion, she told us, for several reasons.
 
"For starters," she said, "there's a lot of money to be made in bar tending."
"Also," she went on, "I know how late you two like to stay up. This would be the perfect job for you both since you're such night owls. Then you could sleep in every day since you would work at night."
"And this will be great practice for Michael, since he wants to be a psychiatrist." she concluded.

I, for one, will just be glad when I can buy myself a bottle of wine, or drink a couple of beers legally.  And frankly Missiemom, I'm way to introverted to be a bartender.  ;)

Okay, So if anyone has been listening to news and what not, It looks like our "dooms day" is now 4 years from now.

My personal Opinion. Its bullshit. Supposidly y2k was going to end everything, predicted by so many people. And now everyones freaking out about this. I just see more people raking in money. Like this site

That link goes to the "Believers List". To get on the list, you must send a dollar to them. That sounds riddiculous to me. I'm a believer, but in order to show it, I have to pay? Woot. Now don't get me wrong, a dollar isn't anything. But when hundreds of people are sending them in? that place must be makin some nice money.

How bout churches? If you know me, I believe in God, I believe Jesus was my savior. But you know people are paying their church ALOT, and probably will a hell of alot more in the 2011/2012. I think this is just a scam by The churches to be honest. Its riddiculous and annoying hearing all this whining about something.

Lol kay? Like What, Nasa Predicts some cool space storms? Meteorolgists predict storms 24/7. And 75% of the time they fail. And thats stuff that is going to hit us, but Nasa is predicting storms 1000's of miles away from our Earth? yeah okay. I'll believe that when i see it in 4 years.

I think this is just getting out of hand. I think the church is doing this to scare people into going to church more so they can make more money and have an even larger ammount of people.

And why would our last day be that day? what about 6/6/06? why not 12/12/2021? No one can predict our last days. Its riddiculous, Unless God / Jesus pops down infront of me and says "Everyone Dies this day", I ain't going to believe shit about it. I don't understand how thousands of years ago, their calender stopped, and now all of a sudden that means the end of the word for us on the day it stops.

Come on people, you should be smarter than that to know no human can predict the end of the world.

Be smart, Don't fall for this Dooms day. The church will probably say we'll have 10 - 20 of them in the next 100 years.

            Yesterday was my sister’s 21^st birthday. Fortunately, most of her friends were in Vegas on a trip she couldn’t afford to take which left just a few folks to get her smashed at the bar last night. And because I love my sister so much, I agreed to be her designated driver. Basically I dropped her off, sat at my brother’s house until one in the morning and then took her home (I did watch “3:10 to Yuma” while I waited and I highly recommend it).

            Moving on to the present moment, I’m trying to decide what to wear to my sister’s sister-in-law’s bridal shower (I know, why the hell am I going?) and eating oatmeal. I have no idea how I got roped into doing this party, but I did. Like most things with my sister you aren’t asked to help/do something, you are just expected to be there and, in this case, to bring three dozen cinnamon rolls.

            So my "advice" for today goes like this: If you are a married woman with in-laws and siblings, don’t expect them to get along, and sure as hell don’t force them to be around each other.

Sooooo my cousin, whos like early 30's has her b-day like a few days after mine.  Well apparently when I was younger I told her that she could take me out for me 21st.  But I don't want to go.  I'm not big into the bar/club scene.  Or drinking.  I'd rather not go out with  them that weekend, I don't even have anyone that would go with really.  No ones over 21 but Maff and she will be home for my birthday, but I soo don't know if she wants to do that.  I don't even want to.  But she made reservations.  So I'm kinda stuck...I guess.  My moms like "you don't drive, and they'll probably drink and drive and you're gonna die."  See how she makes it so easy to want to drive.  Everything kinda ends with you're gonna die.  When I started driving she refered to a car as a however many tons killing machine.  But yeah so they want to go to Blu Razz http://www.blurazz.com/.  *sigh*  I'll be forced to go.  No good.  No fun.  It will totally ruin my birthday oh the joy of it all.  I can't say anything though because either way I'll end up going.  I'll feel guilty if I don't.  Or they will pull the "you're no fun" card and I'll feel bad.  :(

I'm 21!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol  Ok so it's 12:18 but I had other stuff to do :P and lots of ppl telling me happy birthday!  I love it :D Let it be known that my Maffy was the first to tell me happy birthday! :) Kevin and Maff joined in a countdown for me lol :)
