lol Awwww - Boris is such a cute name! 

lol he's cute size too! his real name is Richard but someone (Zeeta) misheard it as "Boris" (don't ask me how lol) now there's 3 richards there so we only ever call them by their nicknames to tell them apart- another we call Pedro, and I don't know about the 3rd.

BTW Boris's official nickname is:
Boris Suzie von Rickov the 3rd
(as asigned by Nathan) and it keeps growing! - suzie part because he answered to the wrong name - which was funny at the time!

I'd love to see little Vlad! Had you been thinking about one for awhile? How old is he and how does that rate in hamster years? Also does he get on well with the crabs?

Actually, it was a spur of the moment type thing. I asked my mom if I could get one this morning and she decided I could so a couple hours later we went out to our local pet store and got the fattest one there. The fattest is always the cutest, in my opinion. I'm not positive how old he is, but I think he's pretty young - maybe about 5 months old or so. Hmmm... I haven't introduced Vlad to the crabs yet. I'm sure they would get along fine. And no, he was not imported from Russia, he's just a Russian breed.
