Speaking of temporal/dimensional travels:
Not sure if you seen the dimensional examples of super dimensional objects. One dimension is a dot, 2 is a line, 3 is a box.
So, taking a line INTO a 1D world only show a single dot along it's length.
Taking a box INTO a 2D world would only a line anywhere ON that box.
So, maybe an "alien" might have a 3D human "puppet" that he shows from he/her/its 4D world. There could easily be more of him/her/it, but just not visible in our world. They could be here right now among our people - and we not even know it!

And to take that idea further - and this is my personal belief - WE could be the three dimensional representations of beings that are much more than 3,4,5 or even more dimensional. Perhaps we are only intrusions into this 3-D universe and we can only exist here in this limited form, which is why we don't remember our "complete" forms while we're here.
Actually 4-D since must now be considered a dimension.

Nah, can't be true. Because I know there is a great ice cream parlor over in Sector 8, Zeta quad, and if I had 4D capabilities, I'd be SOooooo there, and not here...
But, you do have an interesting theory. Could explain a "soul" and afterlife. Those extra things could be extra dimensional.

When it comes to aliens, I always thought that here is where humans are a bit egotistical.
There are billion and billions and billions and billions of planets out there. So many that we could not possibly count them all. Why in the world would we be the only life form? What would be the point of making all of those planets just so ONE could have living organisms on it?
So I think if you look at the odds, it is more likely that there IS life on many other planets than not.

I agree. If you look at the math's, probablities insist on the existence of other life on other worlds. My question is: Would it be god's sense of humour, if we couldn't travel to meet each other !!??
