I think that is a nice piece. I have mentioned the book "The Power of Now" to several people and ment to bring it to your attention as well. In the book the author outlines how many ideas or misconceived notions are created by our minds. I highly recommend that you read the book or listen to it on audio tape. I think it might be useful for you to create a way of explaining the notion of a handicap being an artificial barrier. It is afterall created by the mind...
If you aren't already familiar with them, you might also enjoy reading teh Conversations with God series by Neale Donald Walsch, i'd say it was pretty philosophically consonant with the Power of Now

yeah yeah I am already sheeshy....that rehab place is gonna make some changes cuz they are just out of touch, and when I get out of jasper I'll be seeing people so this whole changing the world thing will be easier ya know....patience sheeshy!
yea I don't have any patience remember? lol. anywayz(if u take this word say good-bye to ur dictionary lol) you'll be out of there soon. That rehab place needs an overhaul, I still don't get how you can be a rehab place and not have adaptive equipment, I just don't get it. oh well, live and learn and they need to learn a lot.
