What is the 4^th of July and why is it declared a national holiday in the U.S.A.
on July 4, 1776; the Continental Congress as an official way to declare the United States’ independence from Great Britain adopted the Declaration of Independence. Since that day, every year in the United States, Americans still celebrate that independence staging parades, festivals, barbecues, fireworks, and picnics. Since the fourth of July is observed as a federal holiday many people are off work on that day and celebrations begin in the early morning and continue until late at night. Shortly after dusk is when the firework displays fill the night skies.


Summer is now in full swing as they say: Those of us living in the desert southwest area of the U.S. have already experienced sizzling temperatures well above the 100 degree-mark. In other areas of the continental U.S. folks are still enjoying spring like weather. Where ever you are enjoy summer and stay safe in your activities, be that boating, swimming, travel, doing whatever it is you really enjoy.


Reiki Attunement Experience:
In our Question and Answer portion of the newsletter ( see below) I addressed a question I received about Reiki Attunements. I would like to relate to all of you something that I experienced recently while performing an attunement for one of my students. This happened during an Elenari Healing System attunement and during that attunement for my student; I called in all the fairies of the Universe and especially the Fae Fairies of the Elenari Healing System.  Suddenly, out of nowhere, a little fairy. appeared to me and she reminded me so much of "Tinker Bell" the fairy known to all of us from "Peter Pan." Her presence was made known to me all during this attunement.  When the attunement, had ended, I was going to relate to my student what had happened, but then I forgot.  I received an email from my student and she said you never told me about what you had seen during the attunement, but by this time I had completely forgotten about Tinker Bell the fairy, so all I could think to say to her was I don’t remember.  Then all of a sudden Tinker Bell appeared again out of nowhere hovering over my left shoulder and reminding me that she was there so I proceeded to tell my student about what I’d experienced and that Tinker Bell was present once again while I was writing her the email.  To say the least it was a very comforting experience for me, and Tinker Bell stayed for maybe 10 or 15 minutes and then she was gone.  This hasn’t happened again since, and it was one of the few times that I have ever had an experience such as this. Since then I have done the Elenari attunement at least two more times, and I have called her in but haven’t experienced her presence.  Not to say she that she wasn’t there, but I didn’t see or feel her presence again.

Question: If I were to learn how to perform Reiki healing on another person will I have to physically touch that person?

Answer: My simple answer to you would be no. When an individual is taught how to use Reiki, the Reiki Healing techniques are given to the student in the form of an Attunement - Attunements will empower individuals to use Reiki on themselves and others (pets as well) and facilitate a definite connection to the Reiki source. Qualified Reiki Master-Teachers during the initiation process do attunements for the Reiki student.
