Ok check this out. A while back there was this story about a close to middle aged guy in Iowa who was arested for posseion of "obscene material". This guy was like some..huge manga fan or somthing like that. I don't know the person so i can't say. It was a japanese imported manga. To this day..i still don't know what the material is that got this guy busted when it came to the animated content. They don't say what it is. Was it a a legal age hentai or something else? I don't know because they don't reveal the name of the titles. Btw this is a first. If this guy is put in jail he could face up to 20 years in prison for manga. Thats kind of steep here is it? But if it is innaproprite material then yeah throw the book at him.
Also let me give you another example that happened in Florida..A great teen title i might add with some very important parts that draw you into the series. It involved the manga peach girl. A 12 year old check the series out of a public libary.Now thea comunity wants the book burned. Calling it obscene.
Now back to the pedo story..anyways these forum people just grilled me. Asking me why am i defending this pedo. Well in a ways before we even call this guy a pedo..shouldn't we have all the facts? I can't make up my own mind if i don't know what it is. Give me the name of the animated/manga titles. Innocent untill being proven gulity in a court of law. What ever happened to that? So in a ways they say the law is the law. Hes a pedo end of story.
Now..lol im serious about this i swear to god. A few days ago..you might have heard about this teen that took some nude pics of his "ex" girlfriend .

Now are you ready for this..lets keep in mind here that this guy is busted! The proof is right there clear as crystal! An underage picture at a public school! Yet some of these people feel that him being charged with child porn and being registered as a sex offender is..oh they gone too far here! ....Seriously whats to defend about this guy!? He did break the law! The evidence is there. I'm still waiting for people to answer my question on there. Seriously what a bunch of hypocrites.
It just really baffels my logic..they don't wanna know about the manga pedo's situation with what he had on him that may get him the slammer ( as in it could effect the manga and anime people in the states can watch or view) yet when it comes to this teen's stupid mistake there all crying for him to be freed. Just bull crap and thats the way i call it.
