she's on quite a bit of pain medication now..still walking and eating and is sometimes quite lively..
when she stops eating or can't move--I'll know then that "it's time". Hoping with her that she makes it to the New Year--I'll have the finances to send her off right. My new temp job will have some cash flow for me starting next week
every moment with her now is what's the most important.
so--what didya decide to do with the house (decoration wise)?

well ... right now, I have white lights and an evergreen garland around my loft ... very pretty & soft. I have some scented soy candles around ... on top of the piano etc and a bowl of red ornaments on the table. We will have a tree at some point after soldiergirl arrives home next weekend. That's about it. I am planning to take tons of pics while she's here, so ...
Keep an eye out for that! lol
Hoping and praying with you that Thia suffers as little as possible as she says her goodbyes ...

As you know, I couldn't agree with you more. We Christians have tried to redeem this holiday, but all to often we have bought--and I use that word literally--into it. Laurie and I have pretty much checked out on most of this, although, like you, do find the lights and displays beautiful.
