I wrote a piece on my other blog called Persona or Personand it started me thinking. So many questions.   When I meet someone online I make certain assumptions.  That's probably not the best way to go about things because it can backfire and "protect" me from those I DO want to get to know.

Am I fact or fiction,

real or fantasy,

or a dream come true?

Am I male or female,

white or black,

yellow or red or brown?

Am I young or old,

warm or cold,

land or water bound?

Am I someone you know,

or just think you know

from a mystical past life?

Am I what I appear,

Am I far or near,

Will I soon disappear?

So many questions,

does it really matter?

Should you trust me?
