Benazir Bhutto, a martyr ~ hmmmm ... Is it me, or is the turmoil multiplying?

Re: Making a Martyr of Bhutto
I told my father-in-law that I give the status quo less than ten years. He asked if I was expecting an apocalypse, (by which me meant a big world-ending war). I said no, just a big change in the world system.  This conversation took place last night, before we heard about Bhutto.

Yep, things are changing.

It's not a surface change, either ... but way down deep ... It is getting darker!  He comes as the Light of Life!

I couldn't fall asleep until almost 6:30 this morning (CST). You can see where I posted a botched entry around that time because I got tired of lying down, looking at the inside of my eyelids.  It is unusual for me even with my insomnia to stay up so late (long).  I remember feeling a sense of deep dread while trying to fall asleep. I kid you not.  I just chalked it up to PMS which tends to escalate my panic disorder.  I calmed myself down, but I remember distinctly thinking, "Man, something awful is about to go down."  Pakistan is 11 hours ahead of us. She died at 6:16 pm. GMT

I didn't wake up until noon, but it was the first story I saw on the news.

Absolutely courageous.  Why do we always lose the brave ones?

I don't know, but ... it would have been nice to get her back into power ... Ah well ... I'm sure the world will miss her compassion.

Re: Making a Martyr of Bhutto
I watched an interview that Wolf Blitzer did with her a couple of weeks before she went back to Pakistan.  She was a woman standing up for the good of of Country.  Intelligent and caring.  She could have spent the rest of her life living comfortably away from all that but she wanted to go back and try to make things better.   The world is getting worse and worse.  This is just such horrible news.

Yes ... and it flies in the face of the evolutionists!  If survival of the fittest is the rule, it obviously doesn't mean that kindness and compassion are "survival" traits!  Pisses me off!  From what I've read, she was an incredibly real woman, and a true leader.
