It's God's will, it's all that matters. He is so wonderful ! Timberwolf +++
More on the sovereignty of God:
Isaiah 45:5a: I am the Lord, and there is no other, apart from me there is no God.
Isaiah 45:9b: Does the clay say to the potter, what are you making?
Isaiah 45:12: It is I who made the earth and created mankind upon it. My own hands stretched out the heavens; I marshaled their starry hosts.
Isaiah 55:8: For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways.
(from the Life Application Study Bible, New International Version)
I love that God sees the beginning and the end of every situation, and that there are no surprises to Him.

Yes! Perhaps the greatest relief for me came when I realized I couldn't shock or surprise God. He loves me in spite of my imperfections and knows that we are just dust! YAY!!!
How freeing is that? lol
How freeing is that? lolIt's very freeing. Have you ever listened to the sermons of Dr. Erwin Lutzer? Since 1980, he's been the pastor of the Moody Church in Chicago, and you can listen to his most recent sermons free online at http://www.oneplace.com/ministries/moody_church_hour/ - (and you can also download some of them for free) - I don't think I've ever heard a more powerful or effective (or interesting) preacher and teacher. I have also bought many of his sermon collections and listen to them over and over in the car. I can't recommend him highly enough. His sermons have made me think about things I've never thought about before. Right now I'm listening to his series on Peter. Peter was SUCH a character, so outspoken and so terribly human, and yet Jesus Christ used him in a mighty way.
