I really wanted to go and I would have if my boss would of said 'Yes' when I asked him if I could take off today. I am sure if one our techs wasn't vacationing in Vermont this week, I could of went! This is my 5th Superbowl that I have witness but I only vaguely remember 79' & 80' parades. 74' & 75' I only remember the excitement that the games brought and am not even sure if I went to those parades. I so wanted to be up close and personal with our hero's! It's never the same to hear about it or watch it on TV. The only thing I can say is 'Oh well', since I do want to keep my job. 
Likewise ... I've beena fan since ... well, before Bradshaw. I have taught my kids the game and now they keep me informed with stats and free agency etc. I taught them the love of the game. 
I actually enejoy it better on TV, closer to the action, so to speak. and yes, I had to work, too till 11, so the kids left without me! I'm glad they got it together to go, tho.

STEELERS!!!! i LOVE them i was there today and was overwhelmed by the sea of black and gold i mean, there were people there from maryland and i think virginia was the farthest i saw so it was awesome and i absolutely love your background did you make it? guess ill check it out ok just wanted to say that!

I cannot imagine how much fun that must have been. I live in Tennessee and I always wanted to go see the Steelers at Three Rivers. Maybe someday I will get to see them at Heinz Field. Go Steelers! Super Bowl Champs!
ahhh thanks!@ It's a great feeling, for sure. I have not been to a game at Heinz Field ... can't afford it, but ... I went to a game waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back before Bradshaw when tickets were available and affordable!

hahahaha STILL rockin ... although there is also the kinda shock ... all that emotion and then it comes to a sudden stop. It's kinda funny. I am with people all day at work, and people are almost numb ... wishin it was time for pre-season to start again ... but I guess they all need time to heal and relax. YOU got class, tess ... we just have to keep New England out of it for a while! I think between Cinci and Pgh, we got it covered, right?

I'm all for keeping New England out of it. Oh yeah, I think we both have enough bad boys to do the job...
