Ahoy me mateys!  We are about to cast off on a two week expedition across the Caribbean in search of pirates!  Under the expert navigation of Cpt Merrick of the ship, The Redemption, we will be checking our pirate maps and using our spyglass to locate and capture those ruthless robbers of the high seas ... and their stolen treasure chest!  Pirates!

Yes, really!  :)  Avast, me hearties! Fanned, I'm sure, by the charming and resilient Capt Jack Sparrow and company, I have fond more than enough adorable books to read and clever crafts to make to fill 2 weeks of Pirates Adventures!

Should be a wild adventure, hmmm?

NOTE:  The Redemption , by Marylu Tyndall, is an exciting and refreshing historical romance on the highseas.  I highly recommend it for fun and entertainment!

Love the header pic; thanks for persevering til you got that one uploaded! I've had a thing for pirates since I was in elementary school (long before Capt. Jack Sparrow!) and did a long college research paper on Capt. Kidd for my British Empire class. Great stuff.

Re: Ahoy me maty's!
yes ... Have you read the series (hist fiction) by Marylu Tyndall?  It's the Legacy of the King's Pirates, a 3 book series!  I just finished book 1 and it was wonderful ... simple, but fun reading!  Another one that's a bit more racy is called, Tell Me Lies ... both with Christian themes and pirates plots!  You have any suggestions for me?

One tiny little thing - it's mateys.  No apostrophe needed for a plural, ever.
There, got that off my chest.  :o)
Ok, take a look at this: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_b?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=pirates+complete+idiot&x=0&y=0

I own this book and in my opinion, it's quite good. One of the authors hosted a History Channel show on pirates, and it was so good that I bought the book.  Avast, me hearties! (When I produced Peter Pan, we carried on like that all the time. Big fun!)

If you should happen across any 100% grown & rolled Cuban cigars, say a #45 ring x 5", I'd really appreciate a 3/5 pack - of which I'd gladly reimburse you. But they have to be 100% Cubano's - not Cuban "seed".

I hear they're available in Aruba.

A travel hint I heard: remove the labels if going through US customs!

Don't forget the suntan lotion - and have a wonderful time!
