You Are Bold And Brave
But daring? Not usually?
You tend to like to make calculated risks.
So while you may not be base jumping any time soon...
You are up for whatever's new and (a little) exciting!

Speaking of which, I've done it!  I have done something I haven't done in over 20 years!  Yup, it's true!  I secured reservations for my daughter and I roundtrip to Charleston SC mid June.  We live half a mile from Oakmont Country Club where the US Open will be  ... mid June!  It will be intolerable around here ... NUTTS, even, so we're escaping!  :)  I just HATE spending money this way ... but ... it HAS been a long time, a lifetime almost, and I have worked berry berry hard ... so it's OK.  :D

I took the quiz (tend to think I'm not bold or brave) but... I can't see the results! lol

So I guess I'm free to feel as I wish?

So what is in Charleston that will occupy you during the US Open?  When we lived in Phoenix, it was insane during the yearly golf mega game. Can't remember what it was called, lol, but it tied up the entire zone for an age.

Re:
I have dear friends who moved to Charleston a year and a half ago.  They are intentionally buying a home with an extra bedroom for "visitors" hoping I'll come down and fall in love with it and move there to join them!  We will be staying, naturally, with them!    (walking distance from the beach, I'm told!)

I just saw today that you are going to Charleston in June. We've spent the past three winters there. I'd discard all my earthly possessions in a New York minute and move there, but it's too far from my Children in Chicago. Have a good trip.

Re:
Thanks!  I may, in fact, have an opportunity to move there.  This is more or less a "scouting" trip!

Re:
I'm envious. We have been staying in a condo on Folly Beach November thru March. Every year we say we will return to Florida or Texas, but we keep going back. The whole Charleston area is wonderfu

My friends lived on Folly beach for the first year there!  lol  They have moved a bit inland ... I don't remember the name of the area ... but it's still close to the water.

Have you ever looked at the photo site on the weather website "wunderground.com"? I posted a bunch of photos of Folly and Charleston over the past couple of years. You can look at them here. I love the site.
