YAAAAY!  Thanks so much.  I was really feeling down about my apartment hunt and getting really frustrated, too.  This time I just metioned the money up front.  I had a feeling that it would do the trick.  Sure enough, it did.  It's amazing how many places didn't want my money!  Well, the landlord, Adam, is a really nice, down-to-earth guy who didn't ask any personal questions and didn't require me to make any special deals to get in.  He didn't even ask for a background check.  That's the way things should be.  To hell with the other potential landlords who wanted me to be perfect.  They should just take the money and be happy, you know?  Anyways, I'm happy and floating on a cloud -- that hasn't happened in a long while. 

 

I'm now looking forward to relaxing in my own space.  Already my creativity is jumping.  I'm going to get a lot of artwork done in the new place... It's just so peaceful over there.

I'm looking at bedding right now...  It's been a long while since I've had space, too, so there's also furniture shopping.  Something to save for.  It was weird to pay off the rent for one whole year.  My brother was almost reluctant to give the check away.  But it's turning out all right.  Can't wait to move in...

Me, too.  I think there's definitely something in the air this fall...  There's a full Scorpio moon, I think, this month.  Maybe that has something to do with it?
