i'm gonna look at this at home because i cant see the pics here at work!
Ah, that's too bad. Yeah, I'm all bundled up in my Alpaca wool poncho, big fluffy hat and I have over four layers of coat on besides. I felt like I had put on another 50 pounds.
Anyways, too bad you didn't get a day off, too. School may have been out but a lot of people still had to go to work...

I saw one guy come in from a cigarette break last night while I was at ShopKo and his knuckles were cracked and bleeding JUST FROM THE COLD. I was like, "hey, I cannot believe you braved the cold just for a smoke..." We both laughed. That's some damn cold!

Uh, I tried not to look, tho! He may have. But he also stepped outside with just a light jacket. Crazy!
hahhha! i remember when i was in college in colorado....it got so cold that it didnt snow....and my boogers were crunchy and frozen. my lungs felt weird too.....
Yep! It's very thick and it's like wearing a blanket over everything. I had about four layers of coat on: one light jacket over my blouse, another suede one over that, then a wool coat, then the poncho! Underneath my hat was a hood, a small scarf (not noticable) to go over my mouth and nose, and then over that was the green alpaca wool scarf, then the hat on top. Sometimes I wear just the poncho over my wool coat, but this weather required me to bundle even more.
What's that completely gorgeous green thing wrapped around your head? Shawl? Scarf? I must have it! *Steals it*!!!!! Is that a cape you're wearing? Goddamn you're stylish!
The gorgeous green thing is a fringed Alpaca wool scarf with a matching hat. I'm also wearing an Alpaca wool poncho (just like one Clint Eastwood wears in The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly) and it's like wearing a blanket. I have the poncho over another wool coat. So, technically, I kinda turn into a lama in the winter! Well, not really, but you get the idea. I bought my little ensemble from an imported goods and clothing store I used to work at a year ago. Alpaca wool is slightly more expensive than other wools, but well worth the price to pay if you want to stay warm. This wool is also really strong. I've had the ponch for nine years! But I do have to protect said items from moths during the summer, so I keep them in an air tight plastic bags when not in use.
I think you can find my hat and scarf from a company called Peruvian Trading Co. (at least that's what it says on the tag).
