Just a little something I did this week. It started as a normal watercolor, but then I got busy with my brush and created a few more swirly strokes of white and blue.
wow

Thanks! It's been a loooooong while since I posted art...
I like it when you do ^_^ lol
Thanks! I plan on doing more...
Anyone else you plan on doing? Or just some more self-portraits? =)
Well, it's been a long time since I've had any models, so who knows?
Self-portraits are good though =)
You have an amazing concept of yourself though, by the way! =)
Oh, hey, thanks! self portraits are a way to reinvent yourself, too, I think...
At the moment I'm feeling overwhelmed by ideas... to the point where I just have to sit and think. I have a lot of drawing to do!
do you ever express yourself in warm colours? Now that sounds like it would be a challenge!! =)
Actually, I think I have... *looks through gallery at photobucket*
here:
This is my self portrait from my Tarot deck. I pictured myself as the Queen of Pentacles since I'm a Capricorn. Okay, so not entirely warm colors, but I know I got one somewhere...
I totally love all of this stuff! You need to make your blog theme or wiki theme based off of these portraits!! =)
Thanks! Actually, the very first time I had a blog at Mindsay, I used the above painting (Queen of Pents) for my theme.

gosh, were it that I could be so artistic though.. these are amazing!! =)
Once again, thank you so much for your kind comments! Yeah, I forget sometimes that not everyone is as artistic as me? However, when I do see other people's art, I'm also amazed sometimes. I always feel like I need to do more and more and more...
Just like with my blog themes for Mindsay -- I can't make enough of 'em!
sounds like a true artist to me =)
Yep. We produce things whether or not they are needed! At least that's what I've heard. I'm feeling really restless right now. The sun is out and I want to get drawing but... oh, you know how it is. I don't want to work!!!
Do you have work today then?
Nah. Well, sort of...
I work as a freelance illustrator and need to finish a book right now. I have til the 20th to complete it, but I really don't want to sit here and do it. It might be hard to go to a job if I had to, but sometimes it's worse to make your own schedule and have to stick to it. It's especially hard when the creative juices for someone else's story just aren't there. I'd rather be illustrating my own stories.
Absolutely beautiful.
I suck so bad at watercolors and yet I love to paint with them.
Thank you!
I really took to watercolor because the paint is cheap and I learned that I can "erase" mistakes with water -- unlike oils and acrylics. Keep working at watercolor and I'm sure you'll find a way to get better at it!
Hey! *walks by kicking dirt* I just dropped in to Spam your inbox with this Anti-Spam note to say "Thank You" for having taken the time to stop in and visit at my blog Boo.
"Whoa! a self portrait no doubt" I like it.

That is a picture of yourself isn't it Boo?
♥ Wendy
Yep, it truly is, but I don't have purple white skin tone in real life (of course) hehheheh!
I thought it was... um... did you know that if you ingest enough silver [keeps vampires/werewolves etc away] it will turn you blue?
I just threw that in in case...
♥ Wendy
OH, yeah, I did hear about that. Some people take silver thinking that it'll help them out with health problems and they ended up turning pale blue! I think I remember hearing about that once or twice on the news a couple years ago...
Yep, it's true, I don't know how much silver you have to ingest to turn yourself blue but it dammed sure will do it AND that blue color is permanent too Boo.
I don't think it will affect you if you're using silver in a topical application like silverdine cream Boo.
