What I did today: gave a spark of life to the totally lifeless.  Made faces out of blank styrofoam heads.  Each one has their own personality.  Quite a difference considering how generic they once were.

Doing this really got me out of a bad funk today.  I'm now ready to go back to my drawing board!

Anyone want to give some names to these heads?

foreverknight  should really love the "Lydia" looking one (with the black bangs and choker necklace)!

You should sell these on ebay and make some money too... I know when I was wearing my wigs, I would have loved them!!

Re: Making Great Heads
That's a good idea.  However, these lovely heads will be used for my friend's store.  I could totally buy more and decorate them for women with wigs!  It's also a good idea for a charity...  hmmmm.... thanks for giving some good ideas!

yw,,, cause when you put your wig on , and there is just a styrofoam shape, its kinda odd, ugly.. dressed up like yours.. would make it more fun, uplifting.

I think that the red head should be named Nora.

Oooh, pretty name!  I'll have to tell Dala.  I'm just uploading these pix to her store's myspace page.

The heart cheeked one reminds me of your drawing of me while pregnant for some reason...

Re: Making Great Heads
It does, doesn't it?  She's got a bit of the 19th century painted lady look.  I put the hearts on her cheeks because I accidentally smeared a bit of red on her right cheek with my dirty marker hands!  That's also when her "personality" came out!

Ha ha!! I was going to comment on that one as my favorite too just before you mentioned me.  Ah, you know me so well.  I also like the like the redhead with the curls.  The freckly one is cute too.  Perhaps call them Ginger and Cinnamon?  I just love your style.

Thanks!  I love the name ideas.  I think we'll call the freckled one Cinnamon!  Good call!

I've always liked herb names as "people names". Haha.  Guess that's the nature gal in me.

Me, too!  My pal, Miya just had twins and she named them Hazel and Juniper.
