Just a few peeks into the stuff I do beyond the borders of a drawing board!  My friend, Dala, owns an import store and every month I volunteer to decorate her windows.  I may complain quite a bit during Valentine's Day because I don't have a lover to give sweet sentiments to, but I do love the pagentry of the Valentine season.

Does it show?

If you look closely, you'll see my accidental reflection in some of these images.  It's hard to photograph windows...

And if it seems like I'm posting a lot of images today, well, I'm doing that for a reason.  There's more deep snow in the forecast and that means the storms will keep me indoors away from a public computer.  If it's too snowy or too cold, I can't breathe well.  I have to stay in.  So after this post, I'm going to the video store to rent a few movies to keep me from getting too bored.  Hope you enjoy the photos!  I'll catch you all later...

Stay warm.

Re: February's store window pagentry
I love it! It must be fun doing that kind of work.

I used to have a job in a futon shop. I had to sleep in the window!

I've always wanted to get a job with the dressing team for the Myer Christmas Windows in Melbourne. The displays are so elaborate that they supposedly they start working on the next years Windows as soon as the display comes down.

Re: February's store window pagentry
Store displays are incredibly fun to do.  As soon as I get done with one, I want to do another one.  I've been taking photos of the window displays I've done for Dala's store over the past two years.  Doing window displays reminds me of a silly movie from the 80's called Mannequin (1987) where a mannequin comes to life and helps the man who discovers her create eleborate store window displays!
